So many people out there don't know how influential both of his bands were to modern music. New Order was so ahead of its time, its ridiculous. Most of their songs sound like they could've been released last year. And Joy Division. They're the reason I started making music.

The only album I heard by Joy Division is there second and final album "Closer". That album is so amazing I Purposely haven't played there first album or any of New Order albums. I did get into Igggy Pop bcuz of Joy Division but that's uh topic for another time & place peace.

Amoeba is my favorite record store! I try to get to Hollywood from the Valley as often as possible to shop there, and at Ametron. Imagine shopping there, looking over, and seeing them locally! Since New Order rarely has any information on their sleeves, they seem to have this aura of secrecy, and I envision them always at home in England, and here they are, 12 miles from my house! I wish I'd have known they would be there.
