After Katrina, I will never look at our government the same again. I can honestly say that this country dropped the ball big time. The poor black people of New Orleans payed the biggest price of all. And this coming from someone white. Louisiana took me in and treated me like no other in a time when I needed it the most. I love everyone of you for that and I will NEVER forget you. May God bless all of you. Too all the survivors and rebuilders, you cannot be beaten. New Orleans is living proof.

You should make a video for 2016 -- some of the neighborhoods you drove through are gentrifying, others are continuing in their decline -- before the next hurricane comes through because a lot of the remaining buildings today will be utterly destroyed. (LaNina and stronger hurricanes due to global warming)

it's called New Orleans, because there is already a place in France called Orleans, same as new york and new jersey, so they'd need to call it new new Orleans, the tax less bit is funny, Louisianan has some of the largest oil and gas reserves in the US, but all the revenue goes to federal government because it's just off shore, even if they just got a fraction of a % of what they are owed, they could rebuild, damn BP gave more money more quickly that fema did.

diecast jam not true -- the state gets a rather nice cut. As for New Orleans it is a cess pool of thugs, rats and stink.

This video really fails to capture the progress that's been made. Things have drastically changed since 2009. Progress from 2005 to 2009 was slow.
@thomasritter31596 жыл бұрын
Annawan Times progress???? LMAO. The biggest "progress" was Mitch the bitch taking down monuments for his 15 minutes of national fame.

It was a cess pool before and is still a cess pool. I have lived across the river from that crap hole all of my life - I went out ONCE to party there. It was disgusting then and it is still disgusting. EVERY restaurant or place to eat has rats running all over in the back. There are better places in Louisiana to spend your hard earned dollars and still have a great time.
