I was living on Wisteria St., a block from the corner of Franklin & Gentilly, where Gentilly changes to Chef Menteur Hwy when Katrina hit.. I'd just moved in that month.

My GrandMother's siblings went to Dillard University . The boy siblings went on GI Bill after WW1 and bought homes in Gentilly. Beautiful Neighborhoods !!
