Great video. I'm not much of a guitar player, but I've discovered that guitar vids like this one really help my piano playing ~ left hand ideas for blues & bluesy tunes to be specific. A lot of piano instructors are so well trained ~ classically trained, lovely players ~ but they have no clue what I mean if I say something like "I want a Scrapper Blackwell vibe here." To them, 'mistakes' are never lucky accidents; mistakes are just mistakes.

I'm a guitarist from Melbourne, Australia and a big fan of the Meters for many years and have realized the influence of New Orleans in John Scofield's records - what would be some standards in New Orleans that I would learn in order to play there? I'm thinking tunes that any funky/bluesy/jazzy band would know.
