I didn't realize The Saints were the only team in the league that has injuries. Interesting.

It's news because we lost key players at key positions. We also hadn't built the depth to withstand half of those injuries. To top it off, we were a bottom 5-10 offensive line WITH all of our starters. To contrast, the Lions have a huge injury report, but Jared Goff, Gibbs, and St. Brown hasn't missed any games. LaPorta and Montgomery have missed 1, while Jameson has missed 2. Plus, they have the #1 offensive line in the league. They also have the #7 defense.

Every team has many injuries. It's the team management job to ensure they have quality depth to adjust, when needed. ML has no clue how to make a roster and it shows. Add in the bloated contracts to old players and you're a bottom level team. I sure hope Gayle Benson has the right voices around her making this obvious. A rebuild needs to start with a complete overhaul of all upper level management, including ML. If not this team is going to stay a bottom ladder team for many years. Even with a complete overhaul you're looking at 3 years, minimum.

How Teams Manage Injury Risks: Depth in Roster: Teams build strong depth to prepare for inevitable injuries. (SAINTS FAILED) Improved Training Techniques: Strength and conditioning programs aim to reduce injury risks. (SAINTS FAILED) Sports Medicine Teams: NFL teams employ top-tier medical and rehabilitation staff to treat injuries quickly. (SAINTS FAILED) Load Management: Coaches manage snap counts and practice intensity to prevent overuse injuries. (SAINTS FAILED) Still Whodat Nation for life!!!

I think it's truly garbage of their mistreatment and indifference to Jake. I think that disqualifies Rizzi from being coach. We all have an opinion and all of ours mean just as much as the next.. It means nothing. But it has given Mr a negative outlook at this coaching staff. It has not been fair for him it also has probably destroyed his confidence level. That is a shame for a coach to do to a young player. Shame all over his head.

You obviously don’t know anything about football if you think carr didn’t do anything. All 5 wins are with carr. Top 12 offense with carr, bread last offense without him. Top 10 in ppg, dead last without him. You sound like a low football IQ hater

Revenge for what?? For scamming the Raiders and selling himself as a top QB but failed to win 1 playoff game in 8 years?? Carr owes the Raiders the life style he has.

@Ps7apple 🤣🤣🤣 No one owes the Raiders shit. Worst organization in the past 2 decades and they've ruined more careers than anyone. I wish Carr would've been gone long time ago so we could see how trash the team was and couldn't blame him anymore. It's the culture and until that changes, Raiders will continue to suck but we'll be blaming a player or 2 when it's the owner who has done this. He's the guy who hires people who draft and sign people. Nothing has worked. Maybe Brady and the other new guys in Mark's ear changes things. Hope so or we're still screwed. 😂

The raiders saw what goofball DA and Mickey couldn’t. They moved on, so what? I could care less about his so called beef with the raiders. Him and his butt hurt feelings can sit the bench and figure it out. He can get his “revenge” with his next team

How did that work out for the Raiders? They got way worse, offensively. Burrow started off 4-8 with a far better team this year. He's had the same head coach his entire career. Yet, Bengals fans are smart enough to know their problems aren't on the quarterback. Was Brees the issue when his teams went 2-9, 7-9 (4 times), 7-8, and .500 several times? Again, he was on teams that were far better than any team Carr has been on. Without competent coaching, a good offensive line, and good defenses, ALL quarterbacks struggle. There's some exceptions, but very few.👍🏿🤷🏿‍♂️⚜️💯 So what's the alternative for next year? Throw in a rookie and hope they'll outperform Carr? I mean, it's possible but not likely. The only rookies having decent seasons are Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix, who, not coincidentally have top 10 offensive lines.👍🏿

@mdotnelson what did I say that was unreasonable? I'm not saying Carr is elite by any means. However, plug him and Kamara into the Lions offense and behind their line, and you would see the same success. Brees didn't become elite until Sean Payton built his entire offensive system around him, and he had a stacked offense. Through his tenure with the Chargers (58 games), he looked average, had 1 pro bowl, and had no playoff wins.🤷🏿‍♂️

I have been railing on the training staff and medical folks for a decade. Many of the Saints' injuries are preventable. No, not a blown out knee. But, most of the muscle strain, tweaks, and pulls are preventable. Shame on this aspect of the Saints staff. Overhaul the training staff no matter what. Who Dat!

I wouldn't let a single player with a multi-year contract start. Activate the entire practice squad, put all vets on the injury report, let the young giys play. I do not need to see 94 play another game without a sack or racking up 6 sacks. Both would mean nothing for the future of the team.

When a team loses its Center they are done, since the beginning of NFL football the Center is the vital part of the offense. Mostly all team who have always made it to the playoffs and won SB Centers were healthy. McCoy has not been healthy since Jamesis Winston started at QB for Sean Payton. If a QB can't makeup for the temporary lose of the Center then the teams will fail. Normally its the QB job to call out coverage and protection after the Center call out the D alignment but when you have a rookie starting who does not have the starting Center they generally have to run the play as is and the opponent's D have an advantage. The Saints need to invest in a veteran Center and draft one no lower than the 2nd round. They need a veteran WR who reads defenses. WRs from Ohio State were not just good for speed and pass catching abilities but for reading defenses. They are able to help out any QB because they understand play progressions and will be in the right place most of the time. When building a team WR coaches from A&M, Ohio State, Colorado, and USC.

I would add that the WR1 should be no less than 205-210 lbs. 👍🏿
