If I select it on my Mac current OS all my email folders are gone. Its blank. How do I keep my set up? I see it says it cant move my POP accounts, id have to set them up again, but I cant take the chance of loosing my emails. I do have them back up .olm, but what a hassle to have the new version. Tp iffy.

I installed Office 365 on my new iMac Pro. Was using Outlook and switched to the "New Outlook". Since then, the "New Event" option is greyed out on the calendar, I cannot create a new appointment. Double-clicking on the calendar itself doesn't work either. I was able to create new appointments before switching to "New Outlook" and, yes, Outlook is up to date.

The biggest problem with the new Outlook is that it sees the gmail account as the main calendar. I could not activate the account of my company mail as the main calendar. Can you help?

New outlook doesn't send emails. Is there a fix for this. It does send emails on the old look when I switch back. But not on the new. I dont want to use the old because I am using the new on my pc. This is very frustrating

Just paid over $300 so I could use the full version of outlook for work rather than web, because I needed to use quick steps. Only to discover that this feature is not available on mac! This is ridiculous, there is literally no benefit for me to use the full version at this point.

From what I understand IMAP is in BETA but POP might not be able to be implemented and everyone will have to put in a feature request for it. In other words, customers might need to consider another email program if POP is a requirement.

The "Click the See more items button (…) in the toolbar and click Customize Toolbar," elipses is non-existent! The toolbar is filled with link icons like Meet Now, One Note and My Day, that I don't use, won't ever use and can't get rid of.

When I click on the "New Outlook" Button, I get a popup saying "the following accounts are not supported in the new Outlook and will not be migrated". But the following link shows just a few Outlook groups, used for shared calendars for example. AND it shows only 3 of about 10 groups, that were all created the same way. Any idea what I can do? I'd like to work with the new Outlook, but I need those groups to work.

How do I search or go to a Specific Folder, if this doesn't exist, it's really needed for power users. On Windows, I use SimplyFile 4 to quickly file and jump to folders etc but on Mac nothing of the sort exists to my knowledge. Please add that functionality.

All the buttons in the toolbar that used to be in easy-to-spot colors are now all monochromatic outlines and they're much harder to tell apart. :-( And instead of having a bunch of buttons (delete, archive, move, etc.) with the names under them, you have just a few, with the names next to them. That is NOT an efficient use of space. Fail, fail, fail. I'll stick with the old UI until you take it away.

I just updated to 365 subscription for my Mac computer from Microsoft 2011 so I could update to Catalina. The Folder function in Outlook does not work using my gmail account and it won’t let me set up Xfinity emails to the system. For a program that’s suppose to work with Apple, it certainly does NOT!

The deployment of this new version is taking a really long time. It was announced last October and there are still a number of parts missing from the preview version (shared calendars, on my computer, S/MIME etc.). Microsoft needs to finish this one up soon.

Logout options may not be available in any of the emails clients as far as I know. You need to quit the app once you're done with your task.

i dont like it at all. Why redesign the wheel when the wheel already rolls? I specifically hate the calendar. It doesnt let me span more than a day so i have to go back to edit it like 3 times after i set up the meeting. It doesnt let me change the color of the meeting and im limited to the same 5 colors where the other version of outlook i could choose my color so it worked great as a project gant chart. It'll default to free so i have to go back and manually click to block off the time. Idk I just feel apple focuses more on design rather than functionality. Now i have to spend an hour just customizing it back to the old setting. :(

Your justification for your jobs by constantly changing things is killing me! Why did you change and add COLORS to the headers of emails and tags (just like in Gmail!)??? Are you tying to make Outlook to be like gmail?? This is the most irritable function that I desperately am trying to avoid simply because color confuses my typical male brain! If you look at the commercials for diamonds and Mercedes products they are ALWAYS in black and white. Male brains do not tolerate flashy colors!! Only monotones are allowed especially when a male brain will be forced to stare at the bloody computer monitor for 8 hrs per day. QUESTION: Since I am dissatisfied with your product, HOW DO I REGRESS TO PREVIOUS VERSION???
