Anyone else notice the weird trend of Komoney pushing MD Sky Striker support early? We got linkage only 2 months after it hit TCG and now we’re beating out TCG for the new support. What’s up with that?! Lol.

It has mostly to do with the fact that the sky striker stuff released in side sets in the ocg wich are notorious for taking some time until they get imported into the TCG. So its more about the TCG getting them very late.

They've set precedent of releasing certain support earlier than expected with stuff like the ishizus before tear, promethean before even ocg, and snake eye at the same time as tcg but this is more tcg's fault for taking so long rather than md releasing it so early

Yep. It's really unfortunate. Sky Striker is litterally the perfect archetype for my playstyle and it has sentimental value to me as my first ever modern yugioh deck but it's just so sad that _this_ had to be the card art. I just do my best to ignore it and move on.
