This is crazy. I expected this from F1 and Ferrari and Palantir. Imagine this applied to aero testing, or getting parts in and parts ordered. In F1 everything is in the margins so imagine the team that takes an extra 2 weeks or the gap between a race to get a new part in versus the team that always has it. Through out the race year where you are just 100% on your game weekend in and weekend out you are going to get the points that wins the season for you. If this was all done in just the 8 minutes while he was doing his laps imagine what it'd do across the whole team and company over a season.

It’s a promo. Of course building such processing and analysis pipelines doesn’t take minutes. It’s more like weeks to months. The results were not explained and verified. Extensive use of gen ai is also questionable taking high speed driving risks into account
