NEW Parfums de Marly Layton Exclusif with Nicolas Parat at PdM Boutique in NYC

I absolutely LOVE Layton! I could tell straight away that fragrance was going to be huge. The first time I wore it people reacted and very positively at that. I don't get many compliments on fragrances but wearing this was a whole different story. Thank you, Carlos, for introducing this new edition to me. I was unaware of it but pleasantly surprised. Many will think it's a money grab, due to the popularity of Layton, to come up with a flanker so soon. The original is soooooo good that any alternate version, however modified, will be an instant buy for me. Money grab or not, who cares! I don't blame Parfums De Marly. They hit it out of the park with Layton! Sounds like you definitely approve of "Exlsusif" Carlos. Ultra cool you being able to go to that exquisite shop and check that out. I'm envious. Very happy for you though - your passion and hard work brought you there. Cheers!

I enjoyed the original Layton though it played it a little safe. If I recall correctly it reminded me of a better Armani Code. Hopefully this one is more complex!

Smelled like the original, then dried down much darker. I did the interview at 4 and I can still smell a trace on my hand at 12:30
