I smelled this about two weeks ago and fell in love. I had to have it! From the sample I though it mimicked Daisy by Marc Jacob with a mega plot twist. But, nope not at all. After the dry down hunny…I don’t know what she transitioned into. But, hunny she PREFORMED! She is elegant, classy, I didn’t come to play, caviar, like you said generational money, mink coat on my shoulders with big sunnies on, driver opening the door with my bags and I’m a rich blah blah. I was in the department store on cloud 1200. I couldn’t do anything but giggle and kept saying OMG! She is beyond gorgeous. I am in love! #mustbuy #blindbuyworthy

Bestie, I was floored when I smelled this. Valaya is so beautiful. I usually wait until I'm finish with my classes for the semester to purchase myself a gift, but I couldn't wait. Because to me anything in a beautiful pink or white bottle has to be good-good! and when you mentioned Chantilly as one of the notes..Girl Chantilly was one of my Mother's favorite perfumes, I also loved Arpege on her when I was a little girl and she had the big black refill bottle I remember seeing it when I was a little girl,but I just remember my Mom wearing it once..and her my Dad were going out one night and my Mom came and gave me a hug goodbye and I smelled that Arpege and it smelled exquisite! It had to grow on me. At first it was just so light on me. But as the hours went by and it hung around, I kept going back to smelling my wrist. After I wore it 3-4 times, then I was hooked. It’s VERY different, not floral, hard to describe. To me it’s tangy, clean, musky. I think the retro vibe is the musk.

I am a man and I happened to be out at Neiman with my boyfriend and the lady at the PDM section there wanted me to smell Valaya and Delina because she said I had masculine and feminine features because of my waist length long hair and beard. I laughed but I smelled them and OMG! Valaya is probably my favorite female marketed scent. I would even wear this honestly in the summer to a rooftop cocktail party.
