The reload speed on the plasma carbine was really slow, 2/3 of the time it wasn't firing and you passed up at least a few reload speeds

Spend about 10 hours do some weapon mastries get the morkite cores get your old upgrades maxed again, that's basically what I'm doing

relying on plasma carbine for damage without a 2nd plasma weapon = missing out on a lot of DPS

You were punished by the boss just because you didn't take the gold scanner, thereby you betrayed the dwarf miners :)

Does the mastery bonuses stack? If you unlock 5% bonus dmg from level 1 and 9% from level 2 will you have a total of 14% bonus damage in the future?

Nope, highest unlock is the only one that counts. So, doing them all on hazard 5 once will give you 100% completion basically

They've definitely increased the number of bugs in the boss waves. Seems like they spawn 50/s, and without some severe piercing or mass damage it's almost impossible to hit the boss hiding in the sheer MASS of weenies. Add to that the weenies get faster, stronger, and have MORE HP over time and it becomes LITERALLY impossible to win. I got done in by a stage 3 shooty boss when, after the "the bugs just got stronger" announcement, the bugs just kept on streaming in faster than I could kill them. The whole screen was covered in weenies after just 1 minute of trying to defeat that boss, and I couldn't even touch the boss. I'd almost cleared the weenies and got to the boss when they came streaming on in... and never stopped coming. I thought they were supposed to come in waves every minute and get stronger half way between waves (after 30s = become stronger, another 30s = next wave, etc). Not keep on spawning AN ENTIRE WAVE PER SECOND as of 30s into the boss fight. 😟 That wasn't the only "glitch" I noticed. I could also buy from the shop and go into negative gold and nitra (up to -9 on both; all options that put me at -10 or more were unpurchasable). So they definitely have some new issues they need to look into.

You skipped a few reloads on the carbine and that was its only bottleneck at the time. It had some of the best firerate ever.
