There are so many champions that it'd still take them ages to get through them all and also as the game progresses old champion's kits get power crept and generally new releases can do more in their kits, so you need to then buff up older champs to keep them in line with the new champs. Also as new content is released and harder you need to buff others sometimes to make the content accessible, fire knight hard for example. They had to buff or introduce new champions with freeze to provide more options. In Summoners war each balance patch has anywhere from like 15-30 various buffs/nerfs. 2 is absolutely nothing, 5 would be a lot better if they are solid buffs.

They need to concentrate most their efforts on making more ways for players to spend money in the game. They aint got time for actually improving the game, yuck.

I wonder whether they just can’t do proper regression testing. Remember that champion buffs impact all other areas in the game where those champions are used, so it’s understandably a balancing act to ensure a DT level doesn’t break for example. I’m not defending them though, I’m saying maybe they just suck at development.

Two champions ever few months is an insult to the whole player base. Seeing gold isn't even exciting anymore, because 95% of the time the legendary either totally socks in every way, OR is good in one dungeon or a small area of the game. Not even worth building for most

Disappointing Ultan buff, but with Oella he’s not bad now. The problem for me is still why would I use that pair anywhere unless it’s a really narrow Cursed City stage?

One more thing of note. There’s only a couple of bosses that you can land block active skills on, so it’s not a major change for Konstantin. He’s already nuts in arena as a nuker, so this doesn’t bring anything

I use Vlad and Konstantine everyday in arena. Glad to know this combo will shine even more. I will even be able to remove accuracy from him to fully unleash his potential on the A3

Byst has an aoe that inflicts defense down and block abilities. If you don't have Vlad but have Byst, you can deff still make it work.

Tell you how you make Ultan relevant, add to that cleanse ability, if affected by sleep, stun, freeze, etc., activate this ability at the start of his turn.

Unfortunately stoneskin only has a 50% chance to steal stoneskin. So even if it’s not resisted, you might not steal it

I think the what Plarium are thinking with Ultan is that he is solely PVE and will be setup to be your low(ish) HP champ that gets all the attention, can then cleanse, heal and protect himself during wave content etc. Outside of that they have no scope for him imo. As for Konstantine smashed it out the park. Classic Plarium at work there.

The change to Ultan's A3 is good, but he's still not usable for end game players. Early and mid game players he would be very good, especially with Oella.

The cooldown reset change is actually not a change at all. It's on a 3 turn cooldown, reducing it by 2 turns currently makes it a 1 turn cooldown. So when he takes his next turn, it is available. Fully resetting it accomplishes the exact same thing.

Vlad’s leech move steals turn meter too, so you can give him an instant turn if you steal enough tm then do the dec def and lockout. Does this mean Konstantin doesn’t need acc anymore? I use those two in my main arena setup because I don’t have the meta nukers. Also, I think Ultan was originally supposed to be a sleeper in response to sand devil being impossible when it came out. He’s still trash after the buff.

It's only a steal from Banner Lord, Sacred Order, and High Elf champs, otherwise it is a decrease instead. Still strong, but yeah, more limiting.

These buffs are much welcomed, I've pulled Jingwon and Lady of Ireth out of the vault, they are really useful now. Lady of Ireth boosted my Hydra Clash team and everywhere in PvE she's amazing. Jingwon is amazing everywhere in PvP. Well done Plarium

Constantin buff is really good. I love how a buff in his case, isn’t just a simple “increased damage”, “increased land rate”, “decreased cooldown” etc. No. They are giving us a new “if” option, which will get you thinking about that one vault champion, well what if I could actually meet the requirements to activate that canon this guy has now? Im not saying every duo needs to be a Cupidus and Venus level, but Raid reallllllly needs to rethink their concepts of doing duos/couples especially if they are of different factions so that at least on their own that champ is usable because this is one of 2 lego duos that I have and Oella only got any uses is in faction wars for me at this time (thank goodness I pulled Nell their latest mythical). I may not have a lot of leggos for the Dark Evles, but having a lvl 60 madam suress, Mithrala, Visix, Supreme Kael, and a 6 Star blessed Talamaria he's not replacing them in any of the games modes that I use them for. Nice to know that even with his buff Coldheart with her 6 star blessing will still get more playing time then him for me (if only I could empower my coldheart smh).

His A2 being 'selfish' isn't the problem. It's that fact that skills that cleans debuffs from themselves can't activate if there's any crowd control. A passive effect of 'this skill will ignore any crowd control' would make them useful. Making the debuffs ignore res with Oella wouldn't have hurt either. Just bad champ design, and this buff just doubles down.

I quite Like Alili in theory but that ability that ignores stone skin just cant not kill anyone worth while that gets stoneskin.. and I have him built out well.. Id like for the ability to stay the same maybe a slight increase in damage.. but Id like for it to block revive who it kills that way at least we can block revive the damage dealer (that has lower HP and DEF) or block revive the annoying monkey king.. etc...

Konstantine can't really become top tier for bosses cuz most of them can't take a block active skills debuff. so unless you only need 2 of them it doesn't change that much. And for arena stoneskin and polymorph pretty much negate most of this being realistic.

Everytime I use a Primal shard I get a rare. It takes so long to get a Primal you get all worked up and excited only to crash at the bottom (on poisoned spikes) when the rare shows up - usually a 3 star chicken. Not a fan of Primals.
