Stacy!! This video made me cry, I relate so much to everything you talked about. My daughter’s been sick for a few days and my house is trashed and crochet was on hold. I really needed to hear everything you said. I absolutely feel the guilt all the time, so I stay up super late and sacrifice sleep to try to get things done, and then beat myself up when I don’t achieve my goals. It’s so kind of you to put that positive energy out into the world. I love that your family was involved in your cloth diaper business and now you do the shows with Tara. You’re so inspiring ❤

Thank you so much for putting yourself out there; I appreciate YOU. Your words really resonated with me. I’ve heard the quote: “The days are long, but the years are short”….ain’t that the truth?! Thank you so much for the shout out! I love Gordon! I will definitely try him. Now, girl I loved your mom talk. We are so similar in so many ways. The parallels are crazy. What you said almost made me cry because those struggles were so so real when my kids were little & even now. I’m always struggling to be present & take care of myself. Sleeping, eating, exercising. Being a perfectionist at everything takes its toll. There are never enough hours, lol. I’m so glad you shared those feelings and I know it will touch a lot of people. I hope we get to meet up someday. 🥰

My kids are grown now and i’m also retired from working but i can definitely remember what it was like to juggle all those things you talked about. Now i get to watch my grandson 2 days a week and it is a joy. Plus i get to knit and crochet almost as much as i want which is one of the perks of getting older. Good for you for all your hard work and dedication. 😊

This was an amazing video Stacy..I am 70 years old..I have 4 children and I had an in home day care..some days I had as many as 13 little ones coming and going everyday..I decided to work some evenings and Saturdays at a small fabric store just to get some adult interactions..my children grew up and have often told me how much they resented the day care children..talk about guilt..I 75% raised 2 grandchildren..I worked a full time job at that time and was divorced..every single day on my way home from work to pick up grandchildren from daycare I prayed for strength and guidance and patience to be both mom and dad to M and K..we made it thru by the grace of my prayers..all of this is to say that even today I have guilt for things I should have done for them and I think I should have done better..thank you today 6/30/24 for sharing this beautiful reminder..we do the best we can at the time with what we have physically and emotionally..thank you.

Yes, yes, yes! Everything you said is so true, Stacy. My children are grown and now I have grandchildren. While you are in it the days are long…but the years are short. How wonderful of you to share your life with all the creative young moms. ❤❤ I love your cute gator with floppy legs! I can just picture a whole line of cute little shelf sitters in a nursery or playroom. A forest, farm, jungle, zoo, and pet group. 😊 I think a capybara would be a good candidate for this style, too. Thank you for a great video, Stacy! ❤❤

I'm in my early 50s now, but at one point, I was a single mom of 3 putting myself through collage and trying to work FT. I can relate with things seeming like they were a blur. It was HARD!! Fast forward to now, my husband has been working on the road, my kids are mostly grown (two in their twenties and my youngest turned 18 but will be a senior this year) and I don't work now because I travel back and forth between my son and husband. He just took a job which will settle us in SE WI eventually, so that part will get much easier. I took up crochet last winter because I needed something to give my life purpose. I quickly fell in love with it and will do my first market in August. I have been building inventory and learning new things from all of you awesome fiber artists on KZbin. Your videos help me so much with knowing what to prep and how to stay organized. So THANK YOU, for doing what you do. You truly make a difference to so many. I am excited to try Gordon, and hope that you will make a horse pattern with that body. I have been looking for a horse in this price point that is low sew. Good luck, and thanks again!

Stacy! This is all the feelings I am having the last year. My kids are almost 3 & 5 and as much as I want to crochet and show my kids how Mom can do it all and be a successful business person. I feel this stress of managing my day job, and having to be the appointment person, house person, ect. Since my crochet business is less than a year old, I'm still learning and when I am sitting on all these items, it makes me feel like failure. However, when my kids fight over who gets the next plushies or get mad when it goes for the eventual market I will get into. I get that sense of pride and it helps my brain slow down. Stacy, just thank you for that as I am crying at my desk I can't thank you enough for that motherly advice.

Thank you so much for talking about mom life balance, that really resonated with me. With 3 kids elementary ages, part time music teacher, involved with my church, and trying to run a crochet business, it is definitely a busy season of my life. I have been questioning whether or not to keep up with everything, or trying to step back from the crochet business. But it does give me that calm and stress relief that is so needed. Thank you for sharing your experience.

I "let YT" place ads for me and you just mark a "level" of aggressiveness for them. I marked mid but went to check the ad placement they did on this one and they had 8-9 ads in this one video! Eek. I manually removed all but a few and spaced them out. Thanks for the heads up. Something will definitely look into in the future. 🥰 Other videos of the same length has far less ads, so not sure why they placed so many.
