One thing I find interesting is that unlike when you’re hunting they do not have an icon like the gazelle or hare/rabbit. Turn your scents on and track them normally like you would a bison or horse!

I caught my first peccary as a solo smilodon. It's a fun experience when it comes to hunting these little beasts. And, you can also carry the peccary when you kill it, so you can take it to different locations to have a feast.

I ended up killing a peccary from a group of around 7-10 as a solo wolf somehow. They ran after me, but I lost them (maybe because it was during the night or smth). I got to eat my kill, tho :]

they are really hard to find but also to catch they]re extreamly fast and does good amount of damage idk if dire can latch to them but hopefully dire can latch to them meanwhile sabers pounces on them

no actually the peccary also fight back against smilodon i died to peccaries as a smilodon and would fight back if you cant ambush them even if you ambush them as a single wolf will they run

Idk why the devs only have 50 peccaries spawned per server, it should be like 100-200

Because players shouldn't 100% rely on ais and they're kinda dangerous(and the game work on phone so..)

@ tbh there should be the option of ai reliance, they should atleast respawn fast “every 10-20 mins

@RWDOWNPOUR you CAN survive on ais i did not say you can't, but not every pred of the serv can totale rely on them at the same time, they're here so you can survive but you won't get fat on prong or hares, so solo can survive, but prides/packs have to really look for players

Yeah I'm also having trouble, but I can't figure out what the problem is because I can't find an answer. Although I'm guessing they either already fixed the issue in these 13 hours(?) or it might have to do with the age of your device because last night I tried joining on my pretty old computer and was stuck on the loading screen, but this morning I joined it on my phone and it had no problems whatsoever.

Yayy..another thing wolves cant hunt and can be killed by..no wonder everyone is flodding the servers as sabers cant survive as a wolf anymore...

You can wipe herds of these with a pack. They take like 3 f bites to kill and if you run away and circle back to the pack until one is chasing you when they charge then you can kill it easy They give a loud warnings for a while before they charge if you are alone, and if you sneak up on them as a lone wolf then they will still run I believe. P.s almost everything in the game is killable by wolf if you have a pack. Bison are the only things that have a chance against a full pack and a herd of bison is the only thing you definitely can't hunt.

@Viohazard. I know with a cohesisve pack they can do a lot but sometimes packs arent cohesive and often i like to be a lone wolf, but since they made it so much harder to hunt the rabbits and pronghorn, my lone wolves have been starving to death. 😭😭😊

@ScopeOfPractice well yeah, but like, that's kinda how it's designed, lone wolves starve irl too. And prongs are easy to catch if you know what your doing. Walk around with sent on, then once you see it you need to get perfectly inline with downwind of if and then a little close so you know what bush it spawned in but dont bother with sneaking super close and just chase it and avoid bushes even if it goes through them. Chase it tell you can't anymore and it's even better if your near water or cliffs since making it turn will lose a lot of distance. Also spam the normal bite over and over when your close cus lag will sometimes make it look further then it is.

@Viohazard. I do all that, but they always glitch farther ahead of me and through the trees/rocks, out of my reach then i run out of stamina..or i chase them near some herbos in accident who then chase me to try and kill me. 🙃🙃
