I used to live in TX! I agree. I originally thought it'd be something bluebonnet colored, but they made a great choice.

This pen is on my wishlist, but i couldn't decide between this color and the grey one. But seeing the pink in person (well, not in person, but in your video), it is even more stunning than i expected! I mean, it looked like it in the pictures I saw, but I thought it wouldn't look like this in real, if you know what I mean. I have trust-issues with pen-photographers, obviously, lol!

oh I agree! I thought it was going to be more brown, and when I ordered it, I also ordered the blush pink with the intention of keeping one and returning or selling the other. I ended up selling the blush pink because I loved the rose taupe so much. the grey one is really pretty too!

oooo yeah, I love this one. I have runt hands and this baby is so comfy in the hand, for me. I also fell in love with the color of this pen. i was like, oh yes. must buy. gimme mine.

Thank you so much! I really love my Hobonichi. It’s the perfect size for the challenges I do throughout the year and just for playing with ink when I’m not. I am using the cousin as my regular planner also. I can’t recommend them enough!

Yay, I'm so glad you found a Rose Taupe! I love mine. I use it unposted a lot of the time. I like the screw-to-post feature, though. I would love to get another mini.

Yes! I actually used it at work the other day, and wrote it dry because I was writing so many notes 😂 I mean, mini converter doesn’t hold a ton of ink, but I was still Impressed 😂 I really want one of the new minis too! A few of the colors are on my wishlist!

I love my Sailor Pro Gear Mini Rose Taupe (MF). I got it before they came out with a converter for it. I need to get the converter. Thank you for sharing. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Pen Twins!! :) I love it!! Pen Boutique had the converters in stock, that's where I got mine. I"m not sure who else has them, but that's what first popped up in the google search, so I grabbed one. hehe

It’s really nice, and I say that knowing I put a pretty wet ink in it on purpose so I would hopefully not hate it 😂😂 even if I just had it to look at, I’d be happy!

I have the same one, it’s so pretty. Unfortunately when I posted the cap it got stuck and so now top section is stuck in the cap 😢. Cant find any way to remove it. So bummed 🙁

Watching this...made me realize that I forgot to order a converter with my new Sailor PGS Mini 🥲😩😭😱. This will be my second one, too, so you’d think I’d know better! Wish the shop had warned me, though... my first Sailor Mini is this Rose taupe you have! I could hardly choose between it and another color, so I got both since they are discontinued.

Oh no!! Hopefully you can find one in stock somewhere or just clean out (or use, lol!) the cartridge for now! Which color did you get for the second one? I like a bunch of the new version too! The grey one and the blue one 😍

Manda B Well, I got the Blush. I feel that depending upon images/screen displays around the web, sometimes when you see a mini, you can't tell if it is actually a Rose Taupe or a Blush; also filter use contributes to this. For a long time, I saw that someone had one I really wanted, and I thought it was Blush, but it was actually RT! Since they are so similar IMO, I told myself I definitely only need one, but my friend has the blush and so I keep seeing it! :) I think the new ones are nice, too, but...still, if I were getting one more, I'd get "Mustard"--which I think is very badly named--I'd call it Cafe au lait! So, I guess I really do like the first series! Do you know if other sailor PGS nibs can be swapped out for use in the mini? I know the soft blue/grey contrast color won't be there, sadly. But it could be fun to have a mini with another nib if the treading allows!

The Blush was my second favorite too! I don’t know if the mind can be swapped (I’ve never tried), but I think it’s the same nib as the pro gear slim, so you might be able to swap it out. I just don’t know if it voids any warranty the pen might have if you do that (and if that matters to you).

Actually I think Adventure Denali showed swapping the nibs in one of her videos - she was showing off the new version a few months ago!
