I love the Si Fiori, too, Greta. It's one of my few designer perfumes. And you were the one who convinced me to get it, because I had my eye on it but I usually am very wary of hyped fragrances, especially if they are designer, but I thought if you love it it's probably good! I will check out Happyland. A hot weather citrus/vetiver/musk (that sounds similar to the one you described) from an indie brand that I just got to wear in really hot/humid weather this summer is Gallagher O'Vert.

@@GretaBeth Saw the intro as am in Oz & can’t believe people don’t like the Si Fiori - I bought a backup as well. ( we have similar taste).. for sure. I also have the Si intense like that, but don’t get to wear it.. Haven’t tried the Eclat.? Bought a frag. sampler locally to try for the 2 in there Amouage Sunshine & Delina - sooo different my son had to go outta the room - sooo strong but gorgeous… Unique. Seeing we have similar taste Which Delina do you recommend . I found the original nice - not a rose fan but when it’s done well - here it seems to be covered with other notes (lychee) maybe & have heard that the exclusif is more Oud…. 💛✨🙏🇦🇺♈️

The rhubarb is too tart for me in Delina. I prefer the Delina Exclusif the most, by far. But Roses is nice in high heat and humidity in the summer.

I love the smell of the Si line but can’t pick out the black currant note in that or any perfume…so the purist in me sought out vagabond enchanted forest and La Cautiva by Fueguia 1833. For me it was game over w La Cautiva. The unboxing experience of the 100ml is something else, like discovering an old world treasure trove.

Flower City Frag looks interesting. I'll have to order the sample pack. I've missed quite a few of your vids. My mother has been in the hospital. Renal failure so we brought her home. Possible in a week maybe she may be gone. I knew it would eventually come and dialysis would be too much for her along with her other health problems. I'll probably give the 2 granddaughters all the perfumes they want that I bought for her. They should like that! :-) They were here today from FL to see her. Tomorrow I will surprise them.

Oh Tim 🥺 I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s so hard to watch our beloved parents degrade in front of our eyes. You’ve been such an incredible son to her, adding sunshine ☀️ to all of her days. I know you will continue to keep her comfortable and smiling in every way you know how. I think the granddaughters are extremely lucky to inherit such gems! They are world class perfumes you gifted mom 🤩🤩 I’ve enjoyed tremendously, hearing about all the purchases you have gifted her. She will live on in spirit with every spray long after her time on earth.

@@GretaBeth Greta thanks so much for the thoughtful message. My mother passed Monday evening around 10:45. I had laid down next to her around 9:30 holding her hand. I woke up around 10:40 and no one else was in the room. I thought am I dreaming this. I didn't hear anyone else talking in the house. A few minutes later she took her last breath and she was gone. Passed away on the same birthday as my father. He passed away young and ever since then I have helped my mother. For sure a big void now. The two granddaughter picked out what they liked. Now I can keep them supplied. They are hooked now. LOL So keep the video's coming.

Oh Tim…. I’m so sorry for your incredible loss. She sounded like a very big pet of your life. I was alone with my father, while he laid in bed at home for his final days, when he passed away. It’s very surreal. You can see and feel the life and spirit leaving. I can only imagine how much more confusing it is just after waking up. But thank goodness the Good Lord jostled you awake to bid her final farewell. He made sure you didn’t miss that moment, knowing you would want to see her out. My deepest sympathies to you, Tim. The granddaughters sure are lucky to have you!! 😁 I will definitely keep you abreast of all the good smells! 🌸🌷🌼🌺🌹☀️🌈 Spring and summer I like youthful fruity floral, that they should love 💗

@@GretaBeth Thanks, her funeral was yesterday. We kept it simple with a viewing before the Catholic Mass. The florist did an incredible job on the red rose garland for inside the casket lid and casket spray. Mom wore Gerlain's Mon Precieux Nectar perfume. The first one I bought for her. With some haggling we were able to place my father's brass cremation urn inside the casket. Now the house is so quiet and everyone has left. I'm seriously thinking of now going to Paris FR for some get away time when it gets more toward summer.

You did an incredible job. I’m sure she looked and smelled as elegant as always. I think a summer trip to Europe, or even the Mediterranean islands, is an excellent idea for you. You more than deserve some time to exhale, gather your thoughts, grieve, get some fresh air and sunshine ☀️ and feel God’s loving arms around you to console you. It takes time to grieve. Hi Greta: In my text messages, I received an invitation to a Roja Dove event on April 26th. Booking have to be in by April 14th. Do you know anything about this? Will you be participating? I did the ScentExplore last December and it was great! My first time experiencing anything like that so wondered if this was kinda the same but specifically for Roja Dove.
