New persona Rumors: Persona 6 coming Late 2024, P3 Remake, and new P5 spin-off!

At this point I’m just ready for persona 6 I don’t need another strikers or anything like that. Really interested in the direction they take. Each game has been better than the last so I’m confident that p6 will be amazing. I also wouldn’t mind a P3 remake especially after seeing that footage with yukari just got me more excited

I hope they do. In no way in particular though, but it’s an Atlus classic to make light changes and insert a new character or something. If they do, it will probably be in a way that works enough that people won’t outright hate it compared to the original at least. I hope they don’t change it too much or completely, but adding a bit of freshness would probably turn out okay.

​@@geolibrium9847 it's likely the remake might not have Kotone's route, considering the heavy narrative changes, animations and mechanics overhaul to add a separate route for a totally different gender protagonist. Pokemon and Fire Emblem doesn't count, despite character customisation, all routes are written the same regardless of gender. That might be the key reason for releasing P3P remaster, to allow players to experience Kotone's narrative.

@@vanessachowjiaying4423 Even if that is the case, I’ll accept the game for what it is. There would be a lot of salty tears though, and the reconciliation fans have secretly been hoping for between portable and FES would become completely impossible. Ideally, it would have both FeMC and a better version of the answer, but that’s a best case scenario. Either way, I’ll fork over the money to play it. Unless it’s shamelessly bad, the I’ll be depressed. Well it’s unlikely for either the best or worst outcome to come out there, so I hope for something in between.

@@geolibrium9847 best guess is that the remake have most of Makoto's narrative, which includes the movies like how P5R have some of the anime version scenes. At the same time, it might be impossible to stuff all of the canon sources; drama CDs, novels, guides etc into a full scale remake. Persona 3 drama CDs are scenarios that occurs within the Journey and plot points that link to Arena to some extent. The social link characters might receive proper VA in the remake, though less than half of the former have assigned VA through the anime movies and drama CDs.
