I’ve never fished Caney Fork before, but plan to this year. A few questions: (1) How do you know when and how many generators are running? (2) What’s the best time to put in, and with what? (3) I have a 1436 Jon, but thinking of buying a kayak. Is a Jon boat more trouble than it’s worth there (scraping etc)? Thanks, and I really enjoy your videos.

I think it makes the fishing better! More fish can come up from Old hickory lake when the water is high

I haven't made any plans yet. I've never tried to catch one from a kayak. Things might get a little hairy LOL I'll have to take my boat out to try for sturgeon

The majority of this video was one generator. The majority of the fish I caught came while I was anchored. I used my anchor trolley to position the anchor off the back of the boat so the wind would be at my back.

Absolutely! It helps to be keenly aware of the generation schedule. The water gets so low that some areas are completely exposed during times of zero generation
