Jefftron leviathan with RFTS (real feel trigger system) did this years ago, and the trigger break it gives is very similar to a Real firearm.

@@NegativeAirsoftTech i have one in mine, completely removed the rfts. it does not even really feel real. almost feels as if something is broken. sometimes couldn't even get the trigger to reset itself and it would just get stuck in the back position. lol. but the leviathans are great, love them over titans that never work properly. optical is poo.

In my own experience, my dsg is now the most reliable gun I've ever owned: less than 1 joule, m120 spring and stock 18:1 king arms gears with a shs dsg gear. I do agree that dsg need more work and technical knowledge to build but in terms of maintenance, mine didn't need it more than a normal 18:1 ssg gear build. The problem with dsg's is when they build those 60/70 rps or more with 14.8v batteries, so yeah, they are like dragsters in comparison.

I honestly always though if you want a dsg, do it yourself. Imo the 60 rps ist just fun to play around with. Sounds like an evil woodpecker. You dont need a dsg to get good trigger response. My cyma aks74u just has a 22k motor and 18:1 gears and has good trigger response on an 11.1 with low precocking on the aster. Unfortunately it wornt fed well on medium and not at all on high but i can still spam it somewhat. Juest get a warhead and 10:1 gears, mosfet and short stroke the sector gear if it shoots too hot because the higher the rof, the stronger your spring needs to be. You probably want a m120 but out here in the usa, airsoft is mostly unregulated. The only law is it needs to be sold with an orange tip which you can remove as soon as you get it. if you plan on using it outdoors you can have a 20 in barrel if you want assuming its within field limits but those of you in the uk, you need a shorter barrel because you will under volume if you intend to shoot full auto. It doesn't matter if its a dmr though because they shoot 430+ anyways and are semi locked.

Maybe outdoor fields where you are remain unregulated... all the indoor fields for damn sure have at least a 300fps limit with .2s and no full auto in the building.

@@BionicBurke 350 fps semi only indoors and you can go up to 400 fps outdoors but anything beyond 400 fps you have a med. 40-450 ususally 50 ft unless sniper rifles are the sa.e clas as dmr's in which anything above 400 is 100 ft. For regulations i was talking about uk fps legal limits.

I love having a aeg that uses a realistic trigger sound. Anyway luke do whatever with this info even say it on a video. check the cylinder port on cyma platinum version 2 gearboxes as I've literally have the first official casting error, when I measured it on my DE version 2 gearbox the length is 72mm for the cylinder and it doesn't move but on my cyma platinum I noticed it was moving backwards and forwards so I measured it and it had a 72.5mm length I've even put the gearboxes beside each other and you can tell the difference then I was like that's where the air is coming out of it leaking air through that when I'm firing it but Fortunately I have a double eagle version 2 so I'm gonna have to transfer everything into there. Anyone else out there with a no.11 on the cyma platinum gearbox ver2 having air leak problems move your cylinder to see if there is a gap for it to go forward and back.

Well a dsg can last long.. if you have seigetek gears, bushings, cnc gearbox.. theoretically that should last longer than stock guns.

Hello Luke. I’ve just turned 14 and I got a Specna Arms for my birthday. I want you to DSG it for me please because I hate my Airsoft site. Could you also put a prommy barrel and max hop unit in too? I have £180 to spend. Also my step Dad has an Ares Honey Badger he wants you to repair (he tried putting a Prowin in it but it doesn’t feed and now nothing happens when he pulls his trigger? I ended up building my DSG for a milsim event that allowed full auto for 9mm chambered bodies, and I only built it to be an indoor support gun for terrain denial. Then the company I wanted to use it at messed up and I'll never go back so it's just a wonderful wall hanger now. Also only got it to 36 rps to make it reasonable but scary enough to keep heads down.

Do eeet. What motor do you have? Decide your gears around that and just short stroke 3 or 4 teeth it’ll be nice and snappy and you can use it all day with no worries

@Whale long story, it's a VFC avalon mp5, retro arms vfc gearbox, retro tappet, changed piston and head, cylinder and head, rocket(shs) 9 tooth dsg, 18:1 spur, not sure the bevel brand but it is 18:1 and has 7 anti reversal teeth and sounds good. OE nozzle and hop and barrel. Godzilla 5000 motor but that's not gonna stay long term. M160 spring gave me 360+ fps. M130 made everything WAY better. Now it's indoor friendly and sounds a lot better. With the 160 it only topped out at about 30 RPS so it wasn't the fastest dsg out there but no feeding issues at all with that speed using high caps. I only play at semi only fields and hate showboating so auto is 3 rd burst and basically never used. It was my first DSG ever attempted and I built it just to say I could but having built it I realize a SSG nowadays does just as good and won't break down as fast. This is typed out by an old man at a work bench...

well... the argument is understandable, but theres good reason for some stuff. you want an audio system that is capable of louder music than youre gonna listen, because systems at their limit will get fucky. here in germany scooters are limited to ether limited to 15 or 30~ish mph. guess what. the 15mph scooters will use more fuel than regular road cars and the 30mph scooter will still use more fuel than the not restricted ones. so you dont want it hard limited, you always want that buffer. a road car barely capable of 70mph would be borderline unsafe to drive on the highways, you want that buffer and not use it. and you do the same with your airsofts. you dont build them right at the edge of breaking. you make it capable of more fps and rps but not use that capability. and for the police shutting off your car. well... most government systems and even some banking systems are very easily hacked. guess what will happen if that was a thing? someone will get a kick out of it shutting off cars on the highway. i mean, theres f*ckw*ts literally throwing live turtles off of bridges. but i understand the reason you dont like dsg's. and i dont like them ether, without ever meeting one

Hahahaha with the car quotes I have a fairly fast motor (sv8) but only to get upto speed joining the motorways and to over take those fucking lunatics that want to kill them self's every Friday and Sunday on the m25. I am 100% with ya though with capping the cars.. maybe digitally 80 on motorways and digitally when you go into lower speed zones. But they won't because they earn shit tons of money each year on speeding fines. And also fines to the police for them to profit from it too. Back to airsoft.. that's a bloody lovely build sir!!
