Just some tips for you: I've owned budgies for six years and I must say you've done really well for just starting out. Some issues I'm seeing are the big window might be hazardous because the birds might fly into it and injury themselves. Also the tube style feeder isn't very good for birds because most birds hull their seeds so while it may look like they have a lot of food, its mostly all hulls. I would give them a bowl style dish and refresh it everyday. I see your feeding veggies to the birds which is really good. My budgies especially love lettuce and parsley. Also don't be afraid to give spray millet from time to time. There's a myth circulating around that millet is bad and fattening but it's actually full of vitamins and minerals which are beneficial. The birds should have cuttlebones as well. Birds need a lot of calcium. Thank you for getting them big cages and letting them out. Also budgies LOVE to chew thin wood. I'm constantly getting them popsicle sticks, they go crazy with them. Hope this helps, thanks again for doing your research!

Awesome thanks for the tips :) I'l take those on board! Luckily my grandad used to breed budgies and pigeons for shows for many years until his asthma got bad. He used to judge bird shows and was known for selling the best budgies and pigeons in the country, people used to come from all over to buy them from him! So I've had a lot of knowledge from growing up around him and his birds :) Both cages have cuttle fish bones, toys - including wooden ones, and I have food bowls and water bowls in each. The tube feeder is just an extra, to be honest they rarely use it but I like them to have the option if they choose to, it came with them in their first cage so I just put it to use. The bowls in the budgie cage are attached to the bottom corners of the cage, I'll try and show them next time I film. They have a double food bowl and a double water bowl, so no fighting over limited bowl space. Yes they love millet! I've done a lot of research on diet and I definitely agree with you, in fact I've found the millet to be a great way to tame them and get them used to me! I'll definitely get the budgies some popsicle sticks too! Thanks again :)

For anyone wondering where Radish and Dolly are. My brother has taken over looking after them for me for the time being. This was decided before Casper passed away as my allergies had become so bad with the last remaining four guinea pigs. Love your new pet room and your birds are so beautiful im a massive bird lover i own 2 african greys and 1 blue and gold macaw also i have 3 budgies and 2 canaries I've got 2 rabbits and 3 guniea pigs as well i suffer with allergies to but its very difficult in deciding whether to keep them or rehome them because all the pets i have are always for life at the moment i take medication that helps but its still a struggle sometimes. I also own 4 dogs and 2 cats and i would love a couple of tortices but im going to wait until summer so that i can build a nice big secure enclosure for them at the moment i have a very grumy elderly terrapin who i rescued from the rspca . LOVE YOUR CHANNEL I'VE BEEN SUBSCRIBED FOR A WHILE NOW ALL YOUR PETS ARE VERY CUTE AND ADORABLE AND I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING MORE VIDEOS ON YOUR PETS. Technically yes. Before Casper passed away my allergies had become unbearable, so my brother took over looking after Radish and Dolly for me. So they currently live with him in his home. Once Duffy has a cage and has settled, I'll then make some decisions about company for her :) xx
