New Phenix feather rod is so insanely light, from tackle warehouse!!!

I’m thinking about the feather for 3/8- 1/2 oz jigs. Using a 7.1 heavy xfast. Do you have any insight.

I think that would be a perfect length and action for that weight of a jig. I love my feather light, it is an amazing rod and the sensitivity is outstanding. Phenix has great customer service as well, I ordered mine from Tackle Warehouse and ended up breaking mine flipping a chunky bass up on a high bank. I got ahold of both companies and was sent a brand new one free of charge. So, if you do end getting one, let me know how you like that size and action because I am thinking about getting one as a jig rod when my jig rod bites the dust. Tight lines brother🤙🏻
