I feel like fnf mods where when they change the animations with the arrows(or it’s just coded idk) is very good because I love when Finn and jake go photo negative and then bf changes too with hold arrows and doubles

i feel like BFs animation change is a reprisentation of him pushing himself or going into it if that makes sense. like he is kinda getting into it more, which is really fucking cool!

The thing is that you can't use 8owser to replace the BF in the week because he has alt animations so it'll just make 8owser float in different places

5:49 I'm pretty sure what they did was use Alt poses, it's basically like having a normal sprite sheet but with two animations per arrow, and you kinda just get one at random (That's how I think it works). Sarvente from MFM (Worship) had that mechanic too I think, and Maku from VS. RetroSpecter

ok. so the way it works is somewhat how you pointed it out. same spritesheet, but in the chart editor, theres an option for 'alt animation' notes.

The last song only in freeplay is the old version of quiet. Also the reason that BF skin only worked on the last song is the mod has a separate sprite sheet from BF(it’s reanimated with some notes playing some alt animations).

Originally, the first instance of the opponent giving notes was in an animation made by J-Bug, on the song Papyrus sings by himself. I never seen enemies taking notes though, that's kinda sick as hell.
