Finally sitting down with this video. Welcome back. It appears we are sharing the same brain at the moment. I’ve been spinning a lot of industrial and ebm and trying to learn a bit more about the genres. My industrial cd and Lp collection isn’t big, but I think I’ve touched on a lot of the bigger acts and classic albums/singles. Been trying to find VC peeps that show this stuff and it’s oddly more difficult to stumble across unlike the metal vc. Anyway… great video. Im a big Caustic Grip guy for sure, but Tactical is also fantastic. I love all the early Revco stuff up through Beers Steers and queers. Big Sexy Land is a classic and I love the purity and simplicity of it. I lost interest when they started feel more like Ministry fucking around. The new Cyberaktif is great. Love the sound and layering. Leeb sounds great. The songs have a lot of emotion. Great waxtrax haul you snagged there. I hope you do another video or 2 in this electronic medium before your mood shifts back into guitar based music. Not enough people on KZbin (that I’ve found yet) sharing knowledge on this stuff!

@@HeavyMetallurgy thanks, Marty! I may very well put something else up in short order, but I won’t make any promises haha. I have some more stuff that is definitely worth talking about in this vein so we will see.

Thank you for saying that TACTICAL NEUTRAL IMPLANT is a classic because that album is amazing along with the EPs that were recorded from that era!

Skinny Puppy for the win! I have that Tormentor single on vinyl & CD. Great stuff. I'm a HUGE fan of SP.

@@MichaelPilmer haha thanks bud! I have a decent amount of their stuff on wax but literally everything between the first record and the Process on CD.

I just bought the reissue of Too Dark Park last week. Pressing sounds really good and the cover looks correct.

Me too. Agreed. My version when it came out was tape. The LP sounds lush, like I’ve never heard. The Teargarden re-releases by nettwerk were crap. Sound wise.

@@AlbinoGreenI saw some reissues earlier in the year that looked bad, rabies was one of them- so I skipped them. Rabies is the only one that I would probably over pay for a first press.

@@Mabuhay_Ka that’s good info because some of those SP reissues don’t sound stellar unfortunately

What a score! I grew up in Denver and was raised on the O.G WAX TRAX. 85’-94. Moved to Seattle in 94. Where did you score this? Zions? Wall of sound?

Last time i was at Monster, I was looking at that reissue of Too Dark Park, but out it back because i wanted to buy a bunch of rap, and i was thinking i have enough Skinny Puppy anyway. I think you've talked me into snagging it when i head over there this weekend.

That new Cyberaktif record is excellent. Thrill Kill kult lost me when they went campier and disco. A great haul though!

@@9thcircle73 hahah “disco” I know the era… and you’ll never catch me listening to it of my own accord haha. The Cyberaktif is excellent, though, and unexpected to boot
