Travel to the Aeoluz system in pursuit of a grand threat in Astroneer: Glitchwalkers. I'm cautiously excited. I feel like a lot of recent updates have really power crept us as astroneers, so something which provides a stiff challenge for all our new tech would be really welcome!

Hype level: I'll be buying this on MS store and Steam as soon as it is available. It's kinda their typical dripfeed leaks method of announcing things but I guess we should all be used to that now. I know they still have work to be done and I hope they take the time to do it well so we have a smooth release. Can't wait to hop into it with friends and family! My excitement is reserved. I have not enjoyed the story missions that much as it’s been mostly just fetch quests. I wanna be able to use my massive stores of resources on something

I feel that, especially the fetch quest thing. I don't think there will be a way to use your existing resources in the expansion though since all of that will take place in an entirely different save. :(

I'm really excited about some antagonist news. It seemed to me that for a whole Astroneer 'quest lore' and the industry side of the game seemed to not quite connect. This is is a good thing and a bad thing; on the one hand, players who prefer the more grounded tone of the game can completely ignore it, stick to their jetpacks and gateways rather than enabling creative mode from a story reward. On the other hand, it's made Astroneer lore feel a bit tacked on in ways - it only unlocks after you've finished everything else and doesn't really fit in with the resource gathering loop. I think an antagonist on a new mega planet is a really creative way to merge the lore into interesting gameplay.

yeah, I agree. And I'm really hoping that it isn't simply a bunch of fetch quests with the "lore" limited to mission logs. If they nail the interaction and and create a true sense of urgency, this could be everything I've hoped for in Astroneer lore!

Gosh I just wanna know the price. My economy sucks and I'm a really big fan of this game. I'm 14 atm and I started playing back in 2016. The thing that made me really excited about the trailer is the old terrainscape. We can now freely roam around with the rovers and most importantly, the old forest biome.

Meh, to little, to late. Joe and the info is either nothing or at best all over the place. Makes me wonder who really is in charge. Will they fix any bugs? Not a chance. IMHO But I harly play it anymore. Anyway, Thx for sharing

They do fix a lot of bugs. Some of them that have have lingered are just more difficult to fix, but there are usually numerous bug fixes in every update. As far as the info Joe shares, well, yeah, that's always annoyed me. I'd rather they said nothing until they can say EVERYTHING. I'm not a big fan of the slow tease. It harkens back to childish "I know something you don't know" vibes.
