Played UO back in T2A towards the end. So i only got a few months of play before Renaissance and Tram hit. Played throughout Age of Shadows. I actually loved that because of the custom built houses. Took breaks on and off through Mondains Legacy. I tried Kingdom Reborn and didnt like it. Played some private servers on and off. Found Outlands a few years ago but didn't pick it up until a few days ago. Now that I'm actually playing it I'm itching to get home and log in. Working on a few characters got my crafter . A Chiv Bard And a tamer. I need to get involved in the community more have yet to do that. First time in years ive been away from a game and geeked out all day watching your videos and reading the wiki.

Another great video my dude! I still wander ossuary from time to time, Leon Almonds poisoning monsters and hiding until they die. If I wasn't so hooked on Albion Online I'd be playing more UO Outlands. I'll probably come back and play a lot more once the new land mass drops.

I had the most fun ever in gaming, with UO. I played it for maybe 5 ir 6 years back in the day. I had a mage tamer, a stealth archer, a fencer, and of course a mule. I would lovr to play again, but i dont know if u have the time to put into what i would want to play, a mage tamer.

@@elocc9570 Raising the skill is a lot easier on Outlands. The real grind is in the player progression systems. But... there is no requirement in how fast you do that. Lots of people who don't like pvp play here. There is a sanctuary (trammel) dungeon that rotates weekly though.

advice the lotto system only buy 50 tickets max dont throw your money away buying more too many gigachads on outlands buying 5 million gold in tickets every lotto. These gigachads serious have like 680 million in the bank and can throw 5 million at every lotto and yes some times a guy who bought 50 tickets wins but that's not very often. To even register you need to spend million gold which isn't new player friendly. I will say the expansion land lotto that only allows each account one entry is fair to new players. The other lotto system is seriously a gold deleting system as 50% of the gold is destroyed not return to winning player.

How do you even pvp in this game? Trying to play a melee dexxer and I feel like mages are just way too op. was farming a dungeon when a red ganked me, I tried to fight back. I had 100hp to start; I was able to hit him a full 2 times for like 20 dmg and then I died. I literally died in not even 3 seconds from 100hp?? There's 0 balance. I even have 80 parry and 80 spell resist. That's while ignoring all the utility they get with magery compared to nothing you get from being a dexxer, literally just auto attack compared to massive magery damage, heals, teleports, buffs,.. Chivalry should work in pvp to counter that. Imo they need to nerf mage in pvp and also have more penaltys for being red. Right now pvp seems more like a griefing simulator.

the more you do it the better you'll get at the smaller things like using your environment / monsters / los etc. tbh 1v1 a well played dexxer will come out on top vs a mage. practice makes perfect.

I haven't played retail in years. But I can say new players start on Outlands daily. The community is outmatched by none, so you'll always have people to answer questions and play with. Because of that id guess Outlands.
