I have been collecting Pokemon cards since the 90s. I’m almost 33, I’m a mother and nurse, and I still get the butterflies, joy and adrenaline boost when opening cards. I’m never growing out of this and never want to 😂😂

I don’t open packs as much as I used to… but once a year I’ll buy some packs for that nostalgic feeling. I don’t collect, so I’ll give the cards to my neighbors kids that do collect. Even if they’re bangers. Just a feeling for me, so I get to!

Not an error. If you slow down and finishing reading what it said, it comes with one promo that is stamped, and another that is not. That’s how these etb’s have been since base set s&v

Pokémon center ETB’s come with two promo cards. One regular and one special stamped with the PC logo. Also the sleeves in the PC ETB have always been the same as regular ones. But it looks like they finally changed the sleeves back to the better ones.

I think Pokémon is taking away from the whole Shiny card concept. I understand that Pokémon has a huge young clientele and they want to make everyone feel like a winner. But as an old head that’s been in the game to me the shiny concept has become a bit perplexing to me. There’s so many different types of shinys and it just takes away from its initial purpose which is to feel the emotion of pulling a rare card.
