For those still planning to come here better act fast on the few remaining pathway (healthcare, food processing, agriculture & construction) since those particular areas wont wait for you to decide. Others are already shifting to those particular field specially the Indians & Nigerians. If you take your sweet time those pathway may no longer be available. Good luck

I guess you are still new in canada. Canada changes immigration policy as fast like changing a pair of socks. I expect that they will limit per country the number of immigrants. One country is dominating and change the citizenship years back to 4.

Agreed. Canada’s policy always depends on the needs. Also, next year Conservatives are coming to power and there will be more restrictions which is needed. Canada has become the dump yard for unused humans of the world.

If Mexicos unemployment rate is 2.74% and BC's is 6.7% why would one want to come to Canada/BC? Indias unemployment rate is a bit higher than BC for example - but you can live much cheaper in Mexico / India and get by easier than Canada. Canadians love Canada for 1000 reasons but we are a tough bunch and the liklihood of us having successful lives in those Countries is low. I feel sorry for Immigrants who drink the cool aid that all will be handed to them. Good Luck!

Coming from the opinion of an Uber driver, its not worth it, pay is low & not in demand unless your lucky enough to work with the top commercial airlines. Stick to healthcare.

as an international student why should i be worried?…i took a 2 year course my course is related to healthcare and i am doing my placement owned and operated by the toronto public health? a community centre subsidize by the IRCC itself..the chance of getting me hire after i graduate is high..i am not even bothered by the changes and its about time…no more bragging post for those who came here in tourist visa now in my fb pinoy group page i guess..

you might get hired, but will you get enough points for Express Entry? 2 years or study + 3 years of work in Canada is not enough anymore. Also, you won't get good point for IELTS based on your english skills
