Packed it in and went back to L.A. and went to and graduated from the Musicians Institute and finally left the left coast for middle America. Much rather record in Nashville then L.A. or N.Y!!

When I was 14, I walked into Aztec Hardware in Aztec, NM and paid $21 for a new Springfield single shot .22 rifle. Winchester and Remington .22LR ammo was 70 cents for 50. People had no problem with me carrying the rifle through town. 2 weeks later I mounted a new Weaver scope on it. I walked countless miles in the foothills with that .22 as my only companion. Times have definitely changed, and not in a good way.

I’m 29 from Michigan, All my friends are 25-30. We’ve all grown up shooting guns/ own dozens of guns. We have a group text just for ammo/info. Whoever finds it we all jump on it. We take friends that haven’t shot guns before to the range, we educate other friends on guns and ease them into it and once they shoot their hooked. My generation is right here with you.

Twice this week I've ran into people I didn't know and struck up a conversation about gun's and it was very unusual. The first was a State Highway Patrol investigation team that was door knocking about stolen equipment from the road crew and the older gentleman asked if I shoot steal and I said yes and we talked for about 20 minutes about gun's and shooting. And the 2nd person was from a huge contracting roofing company that was doing an estimate on my roof, gutters, sofit and fascia and I talked to that guy for almost an hour and was late getting to a job. It's been a weird week but a very eye opening week and hopeful. Oh the Ohio State Patrol investigators were looking if we had security camera because a skid steer and stump grinder was stolen from the County road contractors who have our road shut down to widen and fix the bridge using the property they took under Eminent domain from us. But we have 64.8 acre's that my family has owned for almost 100 years and now I own. Short story long seems to me that people are getting more into Firearms and freedom then they were.

I’m comfortable around guns, of course, but never thought I’d feel the need to be armed in America. Last summer through the present changed all that. 10 days from now (thanks, Kommiefornia) I’ll own my second firearm.
