NEW Pooley Bridge Lift May 2020

On Thursday 7th May the new stainless steel £5m Pooley Bridge was lifted into place. This new bridge replaces the 250 year old stone crossing that was washed away during Storm Desmond in 2015.
The new bridge weighs 320 tonne and is due to open in Summer 2020.
