I had been an employee in post office, once someone sent apple charger through india post, but when the bags were opened, because of no seperate packaging for precious articles, it was all in letter bags, and when they were being registered in the system, some postman stole that and no one could find that. Good decision......i work in post office and 1 person in not responsible for dispatching a package or item there are many involved.....and just becoz of someone else mistake many a times a govt servant faces the punishment and often gets chargesheet for a thing which he hasn't done....so it's a good step......regarding the accountability noone does anything intentionally.....and also as a responsible citizen try to deliver the item to the person to whom it belongs😊😊😊
