I wished this had been around when I started. Maybe I would have ended up loving OT! After 23 years, no! So sad.

What would make the difference from this video to you?

Wait you still hate OT? Seems like everyone I've asked about the field loves it. Wondering if it's overhyped. I shadowed elementary school OT and thought it was boring.

@@markymarq256 I am not answering for anyone, except myself. With that said.....I am beginning to see that it isn’t for everyone who THOUGHT they would love it. Just remember that you may have to clean adult/kid diapers and get wet from showers. And it is NOT a glorious job.

O.T.s are horrible counsellors and i do not know why theyre allowed to do this? Their curriculum doesnt have strict psychotheraphy components!!!!

I really needed to see this- in my final few weeks of being a student and will be working during this Covid-19 situation- extra pressure but i'm glad I am not the only one with first job nerves as an OT ! The next few months will be an interesting one !

I'm planning on getting a masters in recreational therapy first and working in that field for a little before going for my masters in OT. Do you think I will have transition struggles one I start OT practice ?
