If you look at where the America Cup was held In 2023 it was the red sea. And that's why I feel like the bottle is red. And the luna rossa is Pradas racing yacht. I think the gradiance of each flanker bottle is supposed to represent a different ocean. 4 different oceans in the world means we might see an Ocean Elixir. Or something resembling there new boat they just launched.

Honestly, I kind of like the Ocean name. I usually can’t stand aquatic, salty, watery fragrances on my skin - just a personal distaste. PLR Ocean is the only line that actually makes me think of the deep cold blue ocean, without being any of those things.

I tested it the other day. The drydown is a wonderful sweet tobacco. It's a unique fragrance, reminds bits and pieces from other fragrances.but it goes its own way. I like it!

It’s sooo basic, but not in a bad way, necessarily. You’re so correct in the fact that it smells like a hundred other men’s fragrances I’ve smelled before. I personally would never spend money on this. Nothing about it stands out and it’s really not amazing in any way.

I still prefer the EDT over all the flankers. The Le Parfume smelled like straight chocolate in the open, to me. most certainly let it sit on the skin for a while before deciding if you like it.

So don't judge me on my opinion here. I have had the EDT & currently own the EDP of ocean. But I genuinely feel like it is completely average asf. Like after 2 hrs on my skin barely smell it. Then after the opening the mid I don't bounce of it like YSL or JPG houses bring. I actually prefer Prada black over the lot of these. So what am saying I just find them quite disappointing. I expect a stack more then what is offered.

Perfume can expire, it depends on the date of manufacture (you can tell this by checking the the batch code online) and how it’s stored (heat and sunlight will make it expire faster). If it’s stored correctly, the shelf life is typically around 7 years after opening / spraying. If it’s exposed to heat and sunlight then maybe only 3-5 years. Of course, some last longer much longer than 7 years.

I have the EDP and I like it as a fall/spring or cool summer evening scent, but it’s not a love. Also, as everyone mentions, the name is misleading and confusing. With a name like ocean you’d be expecting a fresh and aquatic summer fragrance. Even the edt, which is the closest to that, still isn’t. I knew as soon as I saw the bottle for the Parfum that it would not be something I’m interested in at this time of year. Maybe this fall I’ll give it a try.

In the opening there is grapefruit but very quickly all I can smell is a woody INCENSE. In the end it sweetens a little like vanilla. Mid is massively into incense. Somehow all Prada smell nice to me, this one is not my best though.

It's one of my favorites. Intoxicating smell. Just something you don't want to wear at home or office because you don't go nose blind to it. So you will get sick of it. Same as 1 million EDP. Both are sickeningly sweet like that. Very different smells. Something to wear for late night where you catch whiffs of it. But definitely don't want to sit in the smell all day. Love it.
