I think we saw the same review because my reaction was the same as yours-bland, very bland. I was so disappointed with that reviewer’s demo and comments. Although I favor neutrals, I like to have fun with a pop of color when I’m feeling sassy. Cheri’s video completely changed my mind about these eyeshadows.

I hate it when people don’t see makeup as art. Those applicators are tools for powdered pigment that you can use for precise placement vs a broad fluffy brush. She shows here on this video that you can use a fluffy brush for a different effect. A makeup applicator will create its own effect.

I’ve ordered the green one so far. I thought it looked fun! It seems like most palettes mix warm and cool, in addition to the textures, which I love!

The green is sheer. You have to build it up a bit, BUT I don't mind because it looks classy and not over the top. Add an eyeshadow primer if you want it to be bold. (I did not use eyeshadow primer in this video:)

This lipstick formula is amazing. Of all the mattes I have, I have every luxury formula to excess, this one is truly unique, so soft, smooth and doesn’t feel dry at all. And you’re right about the punchy color - the closest is Lisa Eldridge’s super saturated, which is much more saturated imo after testing, but Prada is more soft and smooth, doesn’t feel dry. So comfortable! I do wonder if the bullet will dry out over time, but it’s so wearable. The colors are also great and a bit different which is so hard to accomplish now with so much product out there. I love the packaging, although I do wish they had made the lipstick block less bulky for travel, purse. They really did an excellent job on making them refillable - easy to pop out and replace - better than other brands.

The eyeshadow formula is everything I wished the Guerlain formula was. When Guerlain relaunched it’s eyeshadows with those saturated colors a couple years ago I was so excited. I do like them, but I probably don’t use them as much just because they aren’t as soft. Prada got this so right! Even the metallic is so soft. Now of only other luxury brands would follow suit. A lesson to these brands: hiring a noted artist like Violette isn’t enough. You need outstanding formulas too to command these prices.

Love the Prada eyeshadow. I got Poetry 01 and 04 Portrait. I was not disappointed. I love the pigmentation, and the formula. Most of the lipsticks are currently sold out. But, I went for a soft matte in 05, Tonka. I will absolutely buy that red once it comes back into stock. You’ve given me great ideas. I am so happy to have found you. I got such a laugh at your “I don’t think so” comment about the empty eyeshadow compact being worth the price-even if empty. Lol. Editorial copy can be so over the top at times. The foundation and lipstick are not for me. At almost 80, I’m all about moisture and a healthy real skin glow like what I get with my CdP cushion. The eyeshadows, however, look like something I should definitely consider. Thanks for the review and demo.

Wow, this is the most beautiful video with tthese shadows, you're such an artist, it's wow, also you use a part on your cheeks, also from the matte lipsticks wow!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Matte lipsticks, a no. Only love a soft gloss, or a balm in a soft formula and soft colour. Foundation, beautiful but my skin is more often dry than normal, don't know yet, maybe when prepping very well, haven't decided yet. But these shadows, of course i do not think they all look cute on me, but the palettes with the green in it, and the other one, with the purple in it, really call my name, when they will be sold here in The Netherlands/Europe! Would be interested to hear if you tried ByTerry Hyaluronic foundation? I totally live it. It came out a few years back now, may be 3 years ago… I had lots of people asking what it is on my face and even at work - those who asked and I recommended it, said never regretted buying it. Wonder what you think… I am 57 and strangely (probably because of the thorough skincare routine) my skin got oilier than it was - quite dry… please let me know if you used that foundation and if yes - what you think/? They come in secure packaging ;) A slim Prada box with in insert to hold it in place. I got my all the way from Harrods in London and it came perfect;)

Ooooh, great question.... Lipstick- Prada is less pigmented than the LE (you have to build up the color). I find Prada to have a tad more hydrating due to being less pigmented. Eyeshadow - Both are perfec! Prada is a but more sheer in a good way, but you can't go wrong with LE eyeshadow... tough one. But if I had to choose... right now, I'd choose Prada. Foundation- Both LE and Prada are a bit too dry for my dry 40+ skin BUT once again if I had to choose one it would be Prada :)

Of course you worked your usual magic, and the foundation is lovely as are the looks you created. However, apart from the case the eyeshadows remind me of Revlon or some other drugstore brands, in both the color stories and the side by side layouts. Not luxury at all.

yes, you have to be a professional makeup artist to be able to use these palettes! I think they are terribly a failure. I have a large collection of cosmetics, but I definitely won’t buy this!!! I prefer Tom Ford !! no matter how you put it on, it will be beautiful all the time!
