I have Jones Road products. I agree that there is a glow not found in other products. I loved how your face looked with the bright yellow powder. I usually avoid powder, but it looks great on you. Thank you for showing all the ways to use the new Jones Road products.

I love the pink and yellow powders as well as the eyeshadows and lipsticks on you! The last lippie you tried looked dynamite on you. We have very similar coloring, so it's great to see how things look on you. Ps, have you ever tried the ELF putty line? Their blushes are fabulous especially Carribean, Bora Bora and Tahiti.

Thanks for the review. I was so curious about the powders and may need to try one now. I for thé Miracle Balm in Magic Hour and the glitter in it shows up on my skin as glitter, even if I use it under foundation. I wish it didn’t have obvious glitter particles. Do you know which Miracle Balms don’t have glitter? I would love to get a different one.

Magic Hour and Golden Hour (and the previously available Disco). have a fair amount of shimmer. The others (including the natural one) have a small amount of "pearl" shimmer to them to a lot less. I do really like the powders! ❤

The sticky makes me crazy. I have severe rosacea. I like the moisturize feeling, but the stickiness yuck. You were right about the eyebrow fat pencil, I love that. The pink does look better. It looks like a darker side brown shadow. I have allergies too.

I'm glad to hear you have liked the eyebrow pencil - that is one of my favorite makeup products of everything that I have ever tried from any brand. With regard to the rosacea - I see that Jane Iredale is going to be releasing a green color correcting version of their HydroPure foundation, which I really like. So I wonder if you might be able to tolerate that. ❤

I think with the Miracle Balm, it works best for me if i just treat it like a cream highlighter and put it on top of everything else. They do suggest that it also can be used more generously over the whole face, but I have not done well with that approach. ❤

Opinion that bronzer is not the right color for your skin

The "Tan" bronzer is described as a golden bronze, and i have concluded after a lot of experimentation that yellowish bronzers don't work very well with my skin. i think it probably should be a darker version of your natural skin tone, which the Sephora software program believes is neutral/mildly pink. So I think I need to keep that in mind. ❤

Wow your skin looked gorgeous after using that pink powder. So much phenoxyethanol and propanediol, which I'm allergic to. 🥲 So most of their stuff is no go for me. :(

That is interesting that you are reactive to the propanediol. I agree that this company does use an assortment of ingredients in many of their products that make them not appropriate for many people, unfortunately.

@lisapetrison-beautyreviews I had patch testing not long ago and had a few other allergens and irritants, too. But the propanediol and phenoxyethanol seem to be in almost everything. :(

@@hbarlaam That is really interesting about the patch testing. Did you find the results to be consistent with your experiences? What lab offers that test?

@lisapetrison-beautyreviews I had some bouts of awful dermatitis on my face, which led me to a dermatologist, who then referred me to an allergist for the testing. I suspect there may be other things this test didn't catch--the test was about 70 different known allergens and irritants. Despite doing my best to eliminate the things from that first test, I have an itchy spot currently on my right eyelid. 🤷‍♀️ I have a followup soon so we'll see what they say!
