Been saying that for years! While yes they're rough their signature inversion and overall layout is just immaculately paced

I've only been on 1 SLC and it was Kong at SFDK. That was my first and last for that ride but I want to try this and the Great Nor'Easter.

Did they repaint it? It didn’t look like it from what I saw when I was there earlier this year, but the area was closed off and couldn’t get a close look.

Could this be a sign that Six Flags will make the same changes on this coaster to all remaining SLCs in the chain, including the recently acquired ones from Cedar Fair?

The seatbacks are too hard . Vekoma still needs to add padding there. The vests still don't help with the jack hammering. They did a great job with retheming this area. I suspect Six Flags New England will get a similar transformation of their Crackaxle Canyon section. New coaster likely as part of it.

I believe they're the same length, but I could be wrong on that

@@ColiwoodStudios They are shorten by 2 cars to 8. Originally it had 8 cars when it opened in 1995. Sometime around 2000 the train and station were lengthened to 10 cars until it closed in August 2022

Looks like a fun ride - bit rough, but so are other new-for-2024 coasters! Hopefully Canada's Wonderland gets this treatment next - Flight Deck is one of the worst coasters in the world.

They have done significant trackwork to the coaster to allow it to run well for years to come!

@@ColiwoodStudios Does that mean that track was just replaced maintaining the exact same element or were elements of the track changed to be different than they were. I thought you meant as in they changed the layout of the track that's why I asked.

Honestly I went back in 2022 and I thought it was absolutely delightful! Granted, my closest Six Flags park is Six Flags St. Louis, but I had no complaints on Six Flags America.
