Today we are shopping at the all new Publix Super Market at Waterleigh Village on Avalon Road in Winter Garden, Florida. This store opened around October, 2023 and filmed on December 14, 2023. Publix Super Markets is an employee-owned American supermarket chain headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, founded in 1930 by George W. Jenkins. Publix operates throughout the Southeastern United States, with locations in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia. Publix maintains approximately 1,900 store locations across the Southeast. As of September 2022, Publix employs about 240,000 people at its retail locations, cooking schools, corporate offices, nine grocery distribution centers, and eleven manufacturing facilities.
