Nostril flaring intensifies. Very excited about your announcement. Because of your previous videos about raising quail, I've become interested in doing it too. As a thank you for reviving your series on quail for us fans, I'll be using my expertise in plants and farming research to help simplify outsourcing of quail feed for you. I'll drop short messages in the comments section from time to time to share what I find with you.

Hey there again UA, Cheers from Central Wyoming! I am beginning my own Journey on the Quail Trail, attempting to see if they are commercially viable in my area! My Health really sucks, so traveling a lot for the job that I still have, which is computer hardware field tech, is just too much work for me do the hours on the road on top of the work itself! Your cage design back in the garage is the one that I am emulating, or about to emulate, and when I'm done with that, depending upon what my research in the restaurants and local egg sales is like, that will determine how far I go with this, or more properly, how far I can go! I'm looking forward to your journey, and watching it week by week! Thank you for coming back and for the effort that you will put into the new episodes! Take care and stay warm, another spring snow storm is upon us!

Thank you kindly sir! I'll be doing videos in the fairly near future on building a business by raising quail for eggs. I hope it works for you, and best of luck with the job in the meantime. I'm sure that can be rough.

That sounds great. I just received my new incubator (GQF) last week and should be receiving my order of 300 Georgia giant bobwhite setting eggs in a few weeks. I have learned a lot from your previous videos. Looking forward to watching the next ones.

So glad to see you back! I'm a long time viewer and you were the one to convince me to start raising quail this year. My Hova Bator just arrived yesterday and I'll be ordering some quail eggs from David out at Kansas City QF. I'll let him know I heard of him through your shoutout. Also, I want to start posting videos on my second channel, do you have any tips for someone new to video making? What tools to use, ect.? Can't wait for your new series, fresh beginnings for the both of us! I've seen some people ferment their chicken feed to reduce costs and help the digestion of the birds, would the same apply for game bird feed and quail? I'm gonna make a black solider fly bin soon as well to cut back on costs and repurpose food waste. Lastly, I'm sure you'll cover this in a future video, but would you recommend Wynola Ranch community quail cages? I'm thinking of having the birds in there most of the time once they mature, but also use them to rotationally graze with a movable "quail tractor". Blessings, Grady M.

Hey Grady, glad to hear your jumping on the quail wagon! And I'm glad you're getting your eggs from David, he's a real quality breeder. As far as the videos, try not to get too focused on the intricacies of it all and just focus on making good videos and be yourself. Do what comes natural to you and dont try to be like anyone else. To be honest, I'm not super familiar with fermented feed. But I will be doing the same thing with BSF with the quail droppings. I'll be doing mealworms as well. It's hard for a lot of people to find gamebird feed or turkey starter, but chicken feed is pretty easy to find. Just got to add the protein content. Iike the tractor idea, I'll probably be experimenting with that myself. And yes, Wynola Ranch is who I recommend. I have one in my garage I'm going to assemble soon. Thanks for watching my friend!

I see you ordered a cage from Wynola. I'd be curious as to what are your "goals" (eggs wanted per day, how much meat per week wanted etc) and how you plan to meet them. ---Which cage(s) did you get to meet goals, what do envision growing into ? Regarding feed, have you seen the video where the guy adds Floating Catfish food (32% protein) to "regular" feed to cut price/raise protein (kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6HagWZ5g6aHo80). Drag out the ol camera and START SHOOTING !!!!!!
