I'm hearing a fizzy noise increasing in volume as you speak, listening on AirPods- most noticeable on the off-axis test, but I always hear it. I hear it on every word, it starts and stops as though it was a constant noise being noise-gated, although it may be distortion. I have compared to your sound on other videos and I don't hear it there. (Its not plosives I hear those in one or two places and the sound is different)

Your reviews are always the best, Kevin, even if I have microphones coming out of my ears as a result of watching your channel and others. It was interesting to see the audio rejection at 90 degrees. Thanks for this review Kevin. In a review I expect that not only the strengths but also the weaknesses are highlighted if there are any. This microphone does have some weaknesses such as the max SPL, the uneven sensitivity of left and right and also about the shockmount are not all youtubers satisfied. It would have been nice if you also had mentioned a number of weaknesses and possibly also expressed your opinion about this in your review. In this way, a review will have more value and viewers can better determine whether the microphone is usefull for them.

It clips constantly. Is it your gain that is too high, or the sound pressure too high for the mic? The old one is functional up to 140db, the new one only 110db.

That's totally just the air from his plosives. I'm not sure why he didn't leave the windscreen on it

My only “concern” is why is the sound thingy colored bright red? It is very distracting to a viewer. It should have been colored black - or am I missing something? Thanks for another great video. …Rowby.

Big negativ point is that it just got 110db spl instead of 140db on the first gen. That reflect in heavy distortion in windy conditions and also useless for recording loud car audio or drums Also voltage output is too high for many cameras which also lead to distortion.

WOW! This thing sounds nice! As an on-camera mic and for this price - this is pretty much a no-brainer. However I'm also seeing a possible use for this as a VERY affordable low profile podcast mic. I'm surprised by the quality of sound, especially with its form factor. How close does the subject need to be in order to pick up decent vocals? Seems like it would be good for simple smart phone vlogging. Thanks for another great video.
