Nice work. I loved the bass line to this song when it was hot. I looked up who played on it and the bass player used to be with Huey Lewis and the News. John Pierce is his name.

He played the line on a Hamer Cruise bass as well, which are near impossible to come by these days

@@lfheroes when I was transcribing the bass line, I scoured the internet to find out who played on the song and what bass they used. Mostly forums I think. The tone on the recording just blew me away 🎸

Thanks for the sub! I use a software called the Amazing Slow Downer for transcribing. The Moises app is also great for isolating specific parts and creating backing tracks

The playing is good but the feel is all wrong I think well too straight, sounds like your reading the part which you are.
