New Raid Weekends Explained - Clan Capital Update!

The Clash of Clans Update brings the Clan Capital. Raid Weekends are the War component of this new game mode which is fully explained in this guide. Judo Sloth Gaming explains how the Raid Weekend works as well as attacking and most importantly, the Rewards. Your clan will loot Capital Gold as you are taking down enemy districts but also be rewarded with Raid Medals based on attack and defending at the end of the Raid Weekend.

The forging system to get capital gold is a very good addition to this game, its good when your all buildings is max in home village but you have more troops to upgrade or heroes and you can use your builder on to good use.

I have a few things I wish to see added in the game, and I would like your opinion on them. The first one is being able to attack your own home village friendly challenges, just like within districts. The second one is being able to share attacks outside of clash, like posting it to social media, or sending it to your friends to text messages. The last one is being able to take recourses, and put them into your treasury, like a bank account

Sounds like a lot of communication is going to be required both for clan raids and for capital building upgrade priorities. The in game chat and clan mail is already woefully inadequate to properly manage regular wars and more so CWL, so this added complexity is going to be very painful indeed. You'll get clan leaders and co's getting super annoyed at players randomly attacking without any coordination, or randomly chucking capital gold into structures the leaders don't necessarily want prioritised. Plus then for wars everyone is opted in by default and the clan members who do take part will end up getting super frustrated at members who don't take part especially when districts remain un cleared. They really need a more advanced in game communication system where you can tag clan mates, issue orders, set upgrade preferences etc. Maybe for clans who use other apps like Discord they will be more successful but it would be nice if Supercell did something proactive to help players manage this.

Could you please make a video about the best use of Raid medals? I was thinking maybe wall rings at th11+ since i am not much of a grindy player and i wouldn’t find much value in a training potion, but i am a th10 and wall rings would lose half of their value since one wall piece is 500k (+ i have most of my walls upgraded already)

One question, is there a number of clan member required for the Raid? Like for example, clanwars requires minimum of 5 members meanwhile clanwars league require 15. Answer would really be helpful! Considering only 3 members in our clan are above TH 6
