Scott has a slow calming presentation. Rare in this high paced world. If you can set a time to listen to his whole presentation you can learn all the necessary details and get reminded what all. fast paced individuals face. My gardener Scott tee,I am a gardener I wore 27 days in a row. Slept in it. Lol thanks to Scott I have this year carrots galore and potatoes. I need a video on fall revamping of raised bed soilsoil

Totally agree about the design element this bed will bring to your garden. So many options for setting up a garden these days. My garden is pretty set, everything works in the spaces the plants have to grow in, always a bit of tweaking, lol. Your garden becomes more beautiful with every addition you make. Stay Well!!!

Love the options you chose 😊

I looked at Birdies but the shipping charges to the East Coast were too high, so I'm going with Vego units. They're made of a similar material but with rounded corners - I'm using the slate gray colored ones, which would've been cool if the Milennium Falcon shape were an option. LOL

Most of these beds are 24-gauge or 25-gauge.

Wouldn't leaving the plastic on, just a little more protection of the material? The subject matter is right on cue for me, I'm looking to erect a raised bed or 2 like that.

The metal coating offers great protection and the plastic really isn't needed.

I bought used beds that had the plastic left on. The metal was a nice tan color, the plastic they left on was bright blue. After the plastic had broken down in the sun I couldn't remove it and it was cracked and flaking and permanently stuck on. I had to spray paint it to cover up the blue. Definitely remove the plastic!

@@GardenerScott Some folks aren't as talented at assembly (don't ask!). If you leave the plastic on until after it's all set up, they won't get as many scratches that could rust.
