recent spoilers for age of overlord which will hit the TCG in october also looking pretty crazy with all of the level 8 horus monsters, thinking maybe we can finally have a gren maju/8-axis build that doesn't crater if it has to go first (if you want to review those too)

I've had another think and I still think I've been underestimating this card. I think this might be very useful for zeus lines. It's not just the ED rip, it's the ED *knowledge* . If you know what your opponent's ED Zeus outs are, it means you can hold Zeus much longer than you otherwise would, giving you more impact from a boardwipe. And quite often just board breakers+pain gainer+7 sins attack is enough to clear the board, the ding is just for baiting out handtraps and extra damage.

It could've been better but I still really like it. Dont forget it is another number monster for astral kuriboh which could help it survive a few turns and make its third effect somewhat relevant. Also have you seen the new card Burning Dragon?? Looks like another great addition for gren maju/rank8 turbo decks.

Yes I forgot to mention the Astro kuriboh implications! I think burning dragon at best is a sideboard card

Good point actually. This actually makes it better than I thought it was. I'm used to making 7 sins via sanaphond or something if you go through astral kuriboh, in this line you actually do something. Burning Dragon seems bad tbh, it seems more situational than other level 8s that don't see play in most rank-8 decks (mekk knights, big core mk 3, dogmatika fleur....).

Yishan, what do you think about the fact that despite it being a rogue deck, rank 8 turbo has multiple banlist targets on its back now? Shifter, Zeus, and also Numeron Dragon because of Utopia FTK.
