Hi Joanie, I prefer Wavy Day; probably because I prefer the curl pattern on it. Wavy Day is perhaps my favorite from Raquel Welch. I also don't feel it has much permatease (I'm not a permatease fan.). If you want no permatease at all, you may want to consider Simmer Elite; it has a hand-tied cap and no permatease on top although they did add a bit of more fibers to provide the form/style. xoxo Marlene

Hello, I really love the look and color of this wavy day in coffee. I love the ear-to-ear lace, but it doesn't go all the way around like the Jon Renau Rachel. I have total hair loss and really want to be able to tuck my hair behind my ears. Will the Wavy Day let me do this realistically, especially without sideburns, real sideburns, not just pulling out some of the long hair out to where sideburns would be. I feel like having no sideburns looks fake. And the Jon Renau lets me cut and create them. Will the Wavy Day let me do this also? Thank you Maria G

Hi, I'd say take a look at Ellen Wille. They have little to no permatease and realistic density. The partial hand-tied run true petite. For styles, you may consider watching Taz Wig Closet. Taz is very petite, her face is about 6.5" and she wears petite size. This way you can gage how a style may look on you. xoxo

Hi Shannon, English Toffee and Chocolate with Caramel are basically the same color. The difference is that Chocolate with Caramel has a dark root and English Toffee doesn't. These two BT colors are blended colors (there are no highlights). In Raquel Welch, most colors are highlighted not blended. Black Coffee doesn't have highlights but it's a bit darker and not as warm as the two in BT. I'd say the closest would be Bronzed Sable from RW, but it does have some light brown highlights. xoxo Marlene

I think waves are so Sexy! I'm considering "touch" but it looks different from person to person Videos! On some it's Wavy and others flatter. Any ideas for me? It'd hard to decide. Hi Patricia, thank you so much! I two Touch and both have waves; however, I have seen some flatter ones. The curl pattern will vary even with the same style. I think Wavy Day is beautiful as well as Simmer by Raquel Welch. Belle Tress has some beautiful styles with waves: Columbia and Dalgona 16 are two of my favorites. Belle Tress is pretty consistent with curl patterns. These are heat friendly. If you want regular synthetic (not heat friendly ), take a look at Mila, Rachel, and Julienne by Jon Renau. The nice thing about these is the fibers will need less care than HD fibers and seem to last a bit longer. xoxo

Sherry, both are cool (they are both iced colors); the difference is that Iced Mocha is lighter (RL8/12SS) which is a medium brown (8) shaded with dark blonde (12) while Iced Java is RL4/10SS (off black (4) with medium brown (10)). Neither color has an warmth. It just depends if you prefer a darker or lighter brunette; however, I've had both colors and there's minimal difference. Don't let that dark blonde throw you off. It's very subtle.

That is a stunning wig on you personally (the Black Coffee) and very realistic. But I don't think you know how much tall people like my entire family look down at the top of other's heads. Whether they are standing or sitting down we see it and your wig grip would show, although not so much maybe parted a bit on the side. I often walk up to people and KNOW instantly that they have a wig on just by the part. I see all the knots on top and I don't stand all that close to people. Just FYI.

Hi KS, thank you for stopping by. I no longer have any of the dark brunettes you've mentioned; however, I can tell you that Off Black (2/4) is the darkest color in the RW line and a blend of off black with the darkest brown. Off Black is a warm color. Black Coffee (4/6) is slightly lighter than Off Black. In Black Coffee there is no black; this color is a blend of the darkest brown (4) and dark brown (6). Black Coffee is also a warm color. Iced Java (4/10) is the lightest of the 3 colors, no black in this color, and it's a cool brunette unlike the other two that are warm. In Iced Java, the blend is the darkest brown (4) and a medium brown (10). I hope this helps. xo Marlene

I’m a diehard Shaded Biscuit or Biscuit fan usually. I also agree and love the way they give more volume in the crown which to me gives a great profile and it’s just very flattering to have fullness in the crown especially as we age! Do you think that this application of shaded cappuccino is a little bit lighter than usual? It also appears that the root is very minimal and a bit lighter than usual and so blended that it looks so natural! This is a must have❣️ also how do you measure from chin to collarbone? Do I put it at the tip of my chin and angle it down to my collarbone? I think this measurement is quite important and I’ve never seen it before or I’ve just never paid attention because I know you always put your measurements down and are very similar to mine which helps a lot with the length.

Hi Christina! Thank you so much! I find there's a lot of variance with SS Cappuccino. My Current Events and On Point are pretty dark, but this one, Editor's Pick, and Simmer are all pretty light. I always wonder if it's the wavy ones that are lighter. I looked up on KZbin "How to measure your neck" The measurement, according to what I found, is not taken with a tape measure but rather with your hand. You place your across your neck with your forefinger right where your neck begins and pinky should land by your collar bone (fingers closed). If your pinky rests below your collar bone then you have 3" neck. If your pinky rests on your collar bone you have 4". I have 5" because I still have space under my pinky. I hope this makes sense. xoxo

This wig sure is a beauty. My head circumference is between 19-20”. I dislike short wigs that look like bathing caps with hair growing out of them. They are extremely unflattering on me…yet that is the kind of wig that is readily available and in my price point. I am absolutely ready for more options that don’t make me look like an old lady or a little girl. No sophistication in petite cap sizes in my price point. But love your very helpful videos, and Taz as well. I can at least dream.

One of our admins on the FB page has a 19" and she sews the wefts on all her wigs. I understand that not everyone may want to do this; it seems to work really well for her. Keep an eye on the clearance section especially when there's an additional 20% off the clearance price. If you sign up for the emails, you'll be notified. I don't know if you're a member of our FB group, but if you are, the additional 20% on clearance is also announced on the page.
