To summaize the video: The mic sounds really good. (2:45) The audio sounds really good. Good cable but slightly short Its not surround sound out of the box but you can install the 7.1 drivers with razer synapse to make it surround sound.

@@xxel_cosmoxx8658 Surround sound is Multichanel sound which has a discrete channel for each position in a space. For example 3 speakers in the front (Left, Center, Right) and 2 or 4 speakers on the sides/back (Left Surround, Right Surround, Left Surround Back, Right Surround Back). The speakers around the viewer makes the sound stage more full and realistic. For example if a car is driving by and it is located to the left traveling to the right the speakers will recreated the sound of it rushing past through the left and right Surround speakers making it feel like it really did go past you. Surround sound can't be explained very well over text unless if you experience it for yourself, just like seeing a 144Hz monitor for the first time.

@@lwoui do u use it on your PC? If so, you could have a problem that occurs with a lot of gaming Headsets plugged into the PC with a splitter: your mic sound will often be way too low and noisy plus the headset sound will be a bit low. Thats because a lot of PCs have complete trash soundcards inside, and when u plug a headset in, it doesn't recieve enough power. I had the same Problem and I can tell u: You should try an external usb soundcard! (there are some for 8€ on amazon, I'll leave the link for the one I have). I also had the same problem that my mic was way too low, my friends in COD could'nt really hear me and if so, there was a lot of noise. Once i plugged the USB soundcard in, i could plug the both Cables of the Splitter into the soundcard and BOOM! I had a way louder an more clear sound on my ears and my friends could hear me loud and clear, the noise was gone! So often people complain about shitty headset mics, but in 8/10 Times it really is the shitty soundcard in their PC's not the headset. Thats the 8€ Soundcard: amzn.eu/d/4iBFvPQ

It died a few weeks after so I replaced it with the Kraken T.E which is sold with an external sound card (with volume, bass control and chatmix).

I've been using this since 2020. Its very comfortable and can take a beating. Biggest issue is the volume control, it will brush up against me and randomly lower or increase volume which is EXTREMELY annoying, so I have to max it out and lower volume on my computer instead.

I have been trying to fix it for like 3 hours and still all that my friends can hear is a windy noise and when im talking, you cant hear it at ALL. I would I’ve had multiple problems with the Pro V2 audio wise as it cuts out and this may just be mine but my computer loses detection so your head set disconnects and depending what game you are playing you have to restart that game. I’ve also had the Pro V2s when ever they do disconnect they can crash you game or even PC ( might just be mine)

Yes, I have the pro v2, and there is an option in Synapse for it. And even if for whatever reason there isn't an option in Synapse for it, you can do it via the sound settings from control panel (assuming you have Windows) and have it go through any mic you have connected.

I have the kraken pro v2 and after 1 year of use the right speaker has gone out. I have to hold up the cable for it to work, and I already ordered a new headset. Also the way that the headband expands, doesn't work too well. Mine doesn't click into place anymore and just slides freely. I would only recommend this headset if you are ready to buy a new one in a year or so.

Comfortable? Metal? You sure this is a Kraken headset? Cause my last 7 (Thank god for warranty) were an unholy sort of pain after wearing them a while, feeling like my ears were being cut off. Not to mention the ear cups were fragile as hell, where the plastic would crack after moderate use..
