New RC! Kraken Vesla! How Tough is it?

Hey Everyone! Welcome back to Thunder RC! I have the all new Kraken Vesla from Kraken RC! This is a new type of 5th scale buggy that can be electric or gas! It is 2wd and a whole lot of fun! A Taylor engine might be too much power, Rocky? She's gonna be all over the place wanting to sting everybody like a seriously pissed off murder hornet. Lol. The 38cc motor seems like a good fit for it. But can't wait to see it rip with the Taylor. Maybe a different pipe would make her sound throatier. It looks like that nasty crash was the result of too much rebound in the rear shocks. I second the heavier weight oil idea first and if you don't get enough Rebound with heavier oil ad a preload spacer or a slightly stiffer spring and I think that will be one hell of a good handling machine.

It's very uncontrollable 😆 only time I can go full throttle is when I'm already rolling straight otherwise it just does an awd burnout and spins out 😆. I have had to do some suspension tuning on it to make it more controllable. It's wicked fast with stock gearing my German shepherd couldn't keep up with it. I'm considering putting in higher gearing to make the take off more controllable and then it will really fly.

Thunder! looks to me like this may be the best handling 5th scale you have, so much suspension travel! Maybe the spiked tires had a lot to do with it, but do you notice a difference in how this handles turns and bumps compared to the Rovan and 30Dnb?
