Red-bellied piranhas are red-bellied pacu but spicy Getting your foot covered in fire ants is relatable. Happened to me in Florida too. We were vacationing in Vero Beach and as we were getting something to eat in the area we saw a cool directional sign I wanted to take a picture with. So me and my cousin, posed while my mom took a pic, I didn't look down at what I was stepping on....and everything went downhill from there (literally)....good memory

With how docile the Redtail catfish was, there's a chance it was on its way out the day you got it. As really chill in animals can mean there something wrong with them, and it clearly wasn't behaving like the other Redtail catfish you got from Fred. Or you may need to boost the oxygen in the water, as in the day the water plants put oxygen in the water, but at night they take it back, so you may need a to have more surface water movement, the more fish you add.
@shufaatalam64043 жыл бұрын
Yeah maybe it's the oxygen levels at night that may have contributed to the redtail catfish's death, I would suggest a filter for the pond at nighttime, and make sure it's safe for the fish, so none of them get stuck in it
@zebedeemadness26723 жыл бұрын
@@shufaatalam6404 Doesn't need a filter as it has a 24/7 flow of spring water, if extra oxygen is needed, just need either a fancy fountain in the middle or a good pump to suck water up High in the air to land back in the pond, personally I think the Redtail was all ready dyeing.

Once in Alabama I was standing on a fire ant mound while taking a family picture. While I was waiting for the picture all of the sudden I got bit all at once, I fell to the ground screaming and my mom and uncle had to get my shoes off which may I add were Converse high tops, so they were extra secure on my feet. I was wearing jeans that didn’t fit and was too tight, the jeans saved me from getting bit any further. I will never go on any mound again.. (The picture was just a blade of grass and in the background you just see my family freaking out and me just on the ground flailing)

Maybe find a couple of Paroon sharks for the pond! Pangasius sanitwongsei, the Hi-fin tiger shark, or Paroon shark is arguably one of the world’s largest freshwater fish species in terms of size and weight. It is an extremely large catfish that grow to almost 10 feet in length. It has been exported in increasing numbers for the aquarium trade in recent years. The Paroon shark populations have declined drastically in recent years due to overfishing, and it is now considered Critically Endangered in the wild.

As an aquarium hobbyist, Thank you Rod for teaching Chandler on how to test his water quality. I was getting afraid that we were going to have another episode of Carl the Coral Snake where Chandler may have mismanaged the water quality which may have been the cause of Carl's untimely passing. Too many fish dumped into a delicate water ecosystem can easily turn things south.
