Something tells us that Disney must have KNEW that some people are not going to like the new Auction scene instantly. So they made her a Meet and greet and hopefully people would start to warm up and like her as a likable character. that's kind of a smart move! Now she's awesome! :)

I think it's amazing that there's an opportunity for little girls (and boys) to have a meet-and-greet with a strong, female character who isn't a princess. There really isn't another character like her currently in the parks! I personally think shes great :) Hope they keep her around so I can meet her someday!

I love the accent. Can't wait to see videos come out with her interactions with young girls. Especially once she gets some more practice and becomes more comfortable with the character. The essentials are there, just seem to lack a little bit of confidence that is important for her character.

First off there wouldn't be any 'entertaining' as this is Disney. The whole point was to get rid of the human slavery aspect. Second this Redd has her own background. The old Redd ceased to exist. They retconned the story which means the old one never happened.

She means the animatronic at WDW and I do believe it just may be. After watching the new DL animatronic I do believe it looks slightly different than the one at WDW. IMO, I think they DID reuse the GMR Jane animatronic into the new POTC auction scene.

Kelly G, you misunderstand me, I want the opposite really. I want her to be powerful and intimidating. Her character just doesn't seem right. Like Jack Sparrow can pull of the cocky and sly attitude cause that's his character. But they can't all be that, somebody has to be the Blackbeard of the group.
