As far as LFTL being a bigger company, they are definitely a bigger small business. Not as widely known as you might think though. (Depends on the crowd obviously). Sometimes we will reach toward the larger end of the small business scale to fill a slot in a box when we feel it is a good fit.

I have the deadbolt and I use it for frog fishing. The reel is amazing btw. Once I set the internal breaks it is wonderful for frogs. Also the mg12 is probably my favorite reel I use daily. My Zillion is very close but I do think the mg12 just passes it up. Mostly because it's powerful and you can throw lighter lures really well on it

I think you will like your new Diawa baitcast reel. I have the 103 model from last year and it's fantastic! You have to try really hard to backlash and my reel will cast a mile. Your reel is probably even better with the sv boost. Gonna have to get myself one in the future.

The MG12 is my favorite reel, can do bfs or regular full weight baits. Only complaint, the handles are way too small. Just cause you make a reel lighter and smaller doesn't mean my hands got smaller.
