Yeah we got the last one in our area. Best Buy and Home Depot didn’t have it. Lowes had it for 1k more. We went to Samsung’s website and they had 1 left. So give that a try if you haven’t already.

First time seeing your channel. I feel you on the moving in the new house experience. We are in our newly constructed home finally as of a week ago. We bought the same refrigerator. The evening we moved in my daughter noticed that the bottom shelf was sitting about a half inch high in the front. Turns out subs that installed the unit or the cleaning ladies messed up! The filter housing was attached in the back but, the front was sitting on top of the track and not locked in place properly. Also the clear plastic filter housing door had a two inch chunk of plastic missing from the top. I was PO'ed! I was able to get the shelf out after a struggle as the doors don't open much beyond 90 degrees. I loosened and installed the filter unit properly. When trying to put the shelf back in I quickly found out how the guilty party broke the filter cover. No matter how much contorting and straining I did, I could not get the shelf back in because the open door space does not readily allow enough room. I don't know how the heck I got that shelf out in the first place ! The builder said the refrigerator was fine when they placed it, and the cleaning crew had to be the ones who messed it up. Have you had any trouble getting the bottom shelf in and out on your Samsung refrigerator? As for everything about the frige, we love it so far. You and your husband are such a lovely couple. Congratulations on your new home! I will be checking out more of your content.

Thankfully, we haven’t had any problems with the shelves, and we have been able to maneuver the water filter just fine. One thing to note, be sure to set advance reminders for when to order replacement water filters. The Samsung system alerted us the day-of that a new filter was needed, and luckily we had ordered a replacement back when we ordered the fridge. Now, we have our own reminder set to order a new filter 1 month before it needs replacing. We appreciate you for following our journey! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

The Lowes people installed it and said we'd get a replacement in a week. Then a month. Then three months. We do love the fridge, and can live with the dents, so we negotiated an additional discount and are keeping it. Question: Do you need to turn off the water to change the water filter? That would be an incredible hassle.

For me the real killer app of the family hub is the inventory part of the View Inside app. You probably can do the same with a phone or even a pen and paper if you're old school but having it right there on the fridge telling you what's likely to go off soon has really helped us with meal planning. Some other features are fun and others are a bit useless. If you have somewhat bad habits and end up wasting a lot of food the screen could be worth it, if you think you'l use it to improve your habits.

That looks very nice! I love the way it fits perfectly in the space. I just moved into my new dr Horton home as well 7/15. I love it!😁 I ordered my refrigerator from Best Buy days after moving in. It will be here 7/26 which was not bad. Everyone else was on back order for weeks for a counter depth fridge. I looked EVERYWHERE for the counter depth Samsung flex with the built in smart hub. Everyone was out. I had to go counter depth my because opening where the fridge goes is so shallow. only counter depth height will allow my refrigerator to not stick out too far. Store clerks kept telling my don’t get the smart hub fridge because it has too many issues. Guess I’ll never know now because they didn’t have it anyway lol My fridge is in front of my island so I decided not to do the standard for fear it would be sticking way too far out. My opening is only 24 inches deep. It has a built in cabinet so I wanted the fridge to look flush with the sides and only stick out far enough to open the doors . I’m praying that it fits and looks good even if it’s not an exact height and width wise. I know there is going to be space around it but I don’t think it will be too much. I went with whirlpool as my second choice because my other appliances are whirlpool. It’s a side by side stainless steel with ice maker. What were the measurements of your opening? Were you able to get a standard size in your space?

Hi there, thanks so much for watching! The refrigerator opening in our kitchen measures 22 in. depth, 38 in. width, 71 in. height. A standard size would have stuck out way too far, so we knew we needed a counter-depth model. Also, we originally wanted a Samsung BESPOKE, but it would have been 1-inch too tall for our space. We landed on this Samsung 4-door Flex French Door (counter-depth) and it’s been great!

Love your video, this is SO helpful! The fridge looks amazing. I know you’ve answered this in other comments but I’m in a really tricky spot with this fridge - our fridge opening height in our kitchen is 71 ¾ inches. The manual says the fridge height including the door hinge is 71 ⅞ inches, so it would be ⅛ of an inch too tall. It would be amazing if you could take a tape measure to your fridge and let me know the exact height of it including the door hinge? Thank you so much!!!

I like that it looks less shiny than previous models. We took delivery of ours earlier in the week but it's not in place yet as builders are still working on the rooms leading to the kitchen, so we just have this huge box sitting in our living room. They were out of stock for a while so when one popped up on the alert we just hit go even though it was about a week before we could actually move it into place. I wonder if they really called it the flex because of the features or because it's a £3800 fridge.

Thanks for watching! The ice maker and water system has been amazing. Zero issues. There is one design flaw…if the ice maker fills up, when you go to scoop out ice, the excess ice will fall in the back of the freezer. Easy to clean up, but we wish the ice trays had a higher back. We make sure we turn the ice maker off when it’s full enough.

Hi! Thanks for your question. Every DR Horton community provides different incentives. Our community only provided the double ovens, stovetop, and microwave. Some communities provide washer and dryer and refrigerator. Once you get a contract for a house, the sales agent will let you know what they can provide. Most, if not all, definitely provide the microwave and stovetop oven.

Just wanted to ask, does your left upper door close on its own? As in it won’t stay open without some assistance.

If you open the door all the way, it will stay in its position without assistance. If you slightly open it, it will naturally make its way back to the closed position, but won’t close without someone pushing it. If any of the doors stay open too long, the refrigerator will start to beep.

We still love it after almost one year! It does well in keeping food fresh, the flex zone has been helpful when we have more fresh food to store, and water/ice functions are super convenient. Thanks so much for watching! 🙂🙂

After about 8 months of use, we haven’t had any issues with it. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 We use the water/ice features regularly and have switched the bottom flex zone several times between being a freezer/refrigerator, and it’s all done very well. 😊😊

Not a single issue. We heard all the bad reviews also, but decided to go with what we wanted. We are happy we did.

The frig is 71” high 35” wide. Our space is about 72” high and 38” wide.

Great question - a few years ago we decided to pay off all of our consumer debt. It’s working out well for us. We can get rewards through our debit card. Check out our debt free videos.

No issues at all. During the holidays we wish we had room for the full size version of the fridge, but most of the year the counter depth works well for us.

Don't forgot to take the advertising "10 year sticker" off the front of the fridge 😬 not sure when everyone thinks those things stay on electrics/ appliances

I would avoid buying Samsung at all cost. Got myself refridgerator that makes sounds louder than my 21 year old refridgerator and customer service is simply terrible. They claim it is feature rather than bug and basicaly told me that they dont care at all about noise and my satisfaction. Feel free to KZbin it and think is this device something you want in your house Avoid Samsung at all cost

Samsung is a complete joke. Try calling customer service. Even bigger joke. Spend over $3000for a brand new fridge that won't cool and its 2+ weeks for a repair scheduled to come fix it. Even bigger joke. I will never buy anything Samsung again
