Very clearly explained video Joe. Shame about the troll (Yes, David Davis, either delete your comment or go and take your foul language elsewhere please). It's good to see some progress towards managing overheating risk on any level, as crude as it might be. No doubt as the use of BIM proliferates, DTSM will become much more accessible (and a more accurate method of determining compliance) on all developments, not just the big stuff.

Key issues are always missing and that is that to mitigate the build up of moisture in a home then Humistat Extractors should be more widely installed and Traditional English building appearances will have to change......... Why are Continental Roller shutters not incorporated over glazed areas to reduce heat buildup in rooms and applicable to all rooms with air temperatures rising. Thank you for the information.

One day we're closing all the windows , sealing everything up and using heat recovery for internal air quality. Now we're opening the windows/ vents to allow for cross flow ventilation to keep the inside cool. Ventilation /no ventilation, hot /cold. How do these all modern glass structures cope with all of this? Am I missing something here?

Your not missing anything my friend. We lost our individual and hence collective common sense and now blindly comply with more and more 'directives' that do little to improve our individual and collective lives. Think I'm wrong? Well if we had common sense we would not have put flammable cladding on any building and now need 'regulations' to help us do sensible things
